Artificial Urinary Sphincter ~ Post-op
Hi folks. I'm 13 months past my Prostatectomy. in spite of doing all the required Kegel Exercises I'm still pretty much 100 % incontinent ... getting through between 2 to 4 pads per day. ED is making slow positive progress .... The Vacuum Pump works well but isn't exactly "spur of the moment" The Cialis

Hemp oil
Hello good folks. I seen my gp yesterday and discussed the hemp oil. She said she knew nothing about it and it's still illegal is Ireland. She kindly phoned the pharmacist who said no it's not available and health food supplements hemp oil would not have any effect. She said it would only be a placebo

I'm new here, but not new to PMR
It's encouraging to me to hear how you all are coping with PMR. My 1st bout with PMR was 13 years ago, I was in my mid 50's. Pretty much text book case....on steroids for two years. This time starting, 15 months ago and starting taking prednisone since April last year. Taking the usual, AA and Adcal-D3

Radiation as a first-line treatment
The two options that were recommended to me were robotic assisted
radical
prostatectomy
or radiation. The surgeon that I consulted did not leave me with a feeling of confidence, and I also consulted with a radiation oncologist who recommended IMRT.

Questions on pn decompression surgery
Hi, I'm a 59 year old male whose pain began after a difficult prostatectomy four years ago. Can someone update me on Dr Robert in Nantes-- all the posts are quite dated. How long out does he schedule? Has anyone gone and not had the surgery? Also, anyone seen A Lee Dillon in Las Vegas or Maryland?

Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT)
(I am pretty new to this site - or at least reading it and contributing, so if I break protocol, don't inject me with testosterone...) I have had a wild ride the last couple of years, especially this last year. I would be more than happy to share my experience as I think it may help some of those out

On 10/27/13 I had a prostatectomy at age 49 and PSA of 12. My diagnosis was Gleason (4+5), epe, Nx0, Dx0, extensive SVI, and negative margins. PSA after prostatectomy was 0.0 for 6 months then a slow rise for 30 months to a level 0.182. On 6/30/16 I started radiation with 37 treatments to prostate

Can't Achieve Orgasm and Considering Penile Implant
I had a robotic prostatectomy in July of 2015. It was Gleason 9, 4+5, positive margins and 3 of 14 lymph nodes removed were cancerous. I lost my right nerve bundle during surgery. I recovered well with no incontenance issues. I started using trimix in the fall with great success. My PSA gradually

Disability
I've had robotic prostatectomy with follow up PSA 4.4, 2months of radiation, and a 4month dose of Lupron.Gleason=9. Latest PSA is 4.41. I have emotional issues, muscle aches, fatigue and on and on. Do i qualify for Social Security Disability? Just want an opinion if anybody else has done this. Thanks
