Hi everyone I just wondered if anyone can give me their views on my latest blood tests and if I should go back to my doctor and if so what I should say. I had been feeling unwell during lockdown with all the usual excessive tiredness, Brittle dry hair and nails, putting on weight , Aches and pains etc

Is ADCAL dangerous?
My GP put me on ADCAL when he diagnosed PMR and started Prednisolone. At my first telephone consultatioon with a rheumy (I sacked him yesterday!) he said to come off it as it is dangerous. I am not on any calcium medication. Anyone confirm this or make any comment? Thanks.

From PC diagnosis to Penile Implant (A 2 year journey)
So, it has been a few months since I have been on here, but wanted to share a brief story of my journey thus far. It is two years exactly to the day; I got a prostatectomy. Since then, there have been many ups and downs and unforeseeable side turns. After my initial diagnosis in July of 2018, I

Went through chemotherapy with docetaxel for 6 cycles, radiation of mets to my cervical vertebrae, ADT with Lupron of course and even a
radical
prostatectomy
(strange this was even offered and done with my stage). I started with a PSA of 54 and joined the zero PSA club in Jan 2018.

New Here and Glad I’ve found this Group – Anyone done Proton Therapy?
Intro Info – I’m 66 relatively good health, obviously gay. During a routine physical I had a slightly elevated PSA score of 4.3 so my primary care doctor recommended me to a Urologist. After some discussion we decided to do a biopsy. The result from the 12 cores was not what I wanted to hear. I was hoping

Hi! I’m 53 year old women with RLS. I weaned myself off requip in January, my symptoms weren’t that bad for awhile but lately they’re coming back and getting worse. I am so scared to go back on any type of medication that could cause augmentation. Has anyone here tried marijuana? Legal or illegal? I’

I am reducing my pred dosage, from 15 in March to 7 now. I have always suffered with reflux for which I have been taking esomeprazole for many years but I’m really struggling this week. Pre-Radiation Testosterone Levels & PCa Aggressiveness
New Canadian study below [1]. "... a Gleason score ≥8 was associated with a lower likelihood of having a normal (≥8 nmol/L) testosterone level (OR = 0.51 ..." Put another way, men with GS of 8-10 were more likely to have a T below 231 ng/gL. -Patrick [1] https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32628305/

PSA 3.12 after 3/17 radical prostatectomy. Future treatment thoughts?
I'm new to Advanced Prostate Cancer, moving "up" from Prostate Cancer Network due to recent pathology results after da Vinci
radical
prostatectomy
(RP) on March 17 in Spokane, WA, with Dr. Raymond Lance, who had more than 2,000 da Vinci RPs under his belt. I feel very good about this choice.

In Pursuit Of Restful Sleep And Help For Nocturia
One topic that seems to come up regularly on this forum is the issue of poor sleep or insomnia and it seems very common in PWP so I thought I would try another experiment to see if I could improve on my current sleep regimen and if I could, I wanted to share that information here on the forum. On that
