How does PCa affect Venous Thromboembolism risk?
New study below [1]. In Sweden, PCa isassociated with a ~50% increase in the risk of a deep vein thrombosis [DVT] or pulmonary embolism. This is much lower than some studies have reported, e.g.: "In a larger study from the UK using linked primary care, secondary care and National Statistic Cause of Death

Contradicting silly doctors' parrots

Female Issues ?
Hey friends! 11q mutated here. I'm 3 months into my Calquence and just starting thr 2nd week of the Venetoclax. Tiredness and headaches have been my main symptoms. Taking calquence is like taking a Tylenol - uneventful. ( so grateful!) Amidst my lab checks, I've learned they are so much improved! Bulky

Kidney problems
I have recently started Anastrazole and Adcal and Alendronic Acid tablets for bone density. My cancer is progressing and I don't believe the Anastraxole is having any positive effect. I also have a morphine patch for pain relief. In the last week I find that I am not urinating as frequently as usual

Second Menopause?
Has anyone else gone through what to all intents and purposes seems to be a second menopause? Did this have an effect on your bones i.e. a further large drop in density? Before you think I’ve gone mad let me explain a bit. I went through menopause at 54 luckily with no real symptoms. Then in 2020, at

Investigations
Feeling really annoyed and frustrated today after my gynaecologist appointment. I have been on prostap for 3 months, hasn’t help with the pain and caused hot flashes, weakened bladder and painful joints with swelling on my feet. I was told today nothing else can be done as if that didn’t work for pain
