Hello on this lovely sunny day! Please can I ask for some advice? I’m 5 years on after being diagnosed with sero positive RA. I am meant to start medication number 7, nowish. I’m reluctant. Most medications make me feel very poorly 🤒 I started out with all this, I believe due to a contraceptive

Private hysterectomy
Anyone had success of getting a hysterectomy privately at aged 30? Just asked an NHS consultant for a hysterectomy as its been a 3 yr wait for laproscopy with zero progress and I have absolutely had enough of this.. it was an outright no. I have been struggling with really terrible suicide thoughts

Heavy feeling after radical hysterectomy
I had a total hysterectomy four weeks ago and my vagina now feels heavy. Dragging feeling. I’m worried it has prolapsed. Or is it too soon to tell. Does recovery and scar tissue feel heavy? Should I be worried. My follow up appointment isn’t for another three weeks. Has my vagina fallen? How do I

Hysterectomy, HRT and possible flare up
HI Ladies. So, I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis when I was about 30 years old (Im now 45). I've had 2 laproscopys, 1 laperotomy and finally a total hysterectomy when I was 40. My ovaries were completely stuck to everything else around them, major pain, also had endo on my bowel, pretty much

post menopausal depression and anxiety
hi I am post menopausal and have been left with many new health conditions. I had a total hysterectomy which cured my early stage cancer - everything was removed including my ovaries. Has anyone else been left feeling deflated in post menopause? I have ups and downs with mood swings and my anxiety

Robot assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy - PSA confirms microscopy after surgery
PSA, 7 weeks after surgery, was 0.01 ug/L. Recall microscopy after surgery reported the tumour was no longer prostate confined with capsular penetration and extension into periprostatic fat. Tumour extended very close to the posterior surgical margin but in none of the sections did it reach this margin

Finally my full hysterectomy
After a two year wait I have finally been given a date for my full hysterectomy. It will be keyhole. I have been given two weeks to prepare for it. Any hints and tips on recovery and any suggestions on anything I need to get in beforehand to help with comfort whilst I recover. Many thanks.

l am 77 years of age and began my gynae journey in November 2021. My first consultant did not really take me seriously when l told him at 75 l was having heavy post menopause bleeds, more like a haemorrhage than a normal period bleed, along with persistent constipation, which l now know can be a pointer

Burning pain to side of scapular post several breast ops - anyone have this too?
Dear all Hope you are doing as well as can be. I am really struggling with very bad, deep burning in the area of my upper left back, in-between the shoulder blade and my spine and wondered if anyone else has had this issue post surgery/ies? I have a lot of lumps and spasmed areas anyway, all over
