Trying to quit drinking
I've decided to
quit
drinking
but it's not easy. After being awake for 16 hours during the day not even my Zoloft, Buspar, and Xanax combination helps out-though 2-4 beers do. I've had anxiety long enough (20 years) to know drinking isn't the answer.

quit
drinking

6 days tobacco free but vaping.
Hi new to this site. I was a heavy smoker for 20 years and decided 6 nights ago to smoke my last cig. I lasted cold turkey for almost 15 hours than gave in to my e cig better choice than a real cig. I want to use the ecig only as an aid and be completly nicotine free sooner than later. My biggest problem

My Introduction And Story
I would
quit
drinking
for a while but it didn't always seem like she appreciated my efforts. I started asking her to see a therapist for her personal issues and told her that I wanted to get counseling for our relationship issues as well.

Eleven Days........never thought I could do it
Hi All Eleven days now, I haven't posted for a few days, I always go away this time of year, I find it very hard to cope on the anniversary of my sons death. I came through that trauma without a need to have a puff, so I guess I can do the rest. The support on this site is great, even just reading

Worried
It's been 7 days that I quit smoking. Im having alot of problems breathing and gasping for air especially after I start coughing. I would be able to walk up stairs no problem. But know find myself gasping for air as soon as I get upstairs..I also feel my chest very tight... is this normal or should

day 8
today has been bad. I have a strong urge to smoke, I'm extremely stressed and really want a cigarette and since my boyfriend cant stop smoking in front of me I have to battle that urge twice as hard. I don't know what to do right now I'm losing my mind and worst case scenario I'm just going to sleep
