Quit
drinking
, altered diet, and try to get enough sleep (never seems like enough.) Have a supportive, yet oblivious? Husband who is kind, yet just doesn't "get" what's going on- I think he feels as if it will just go away if we don't talk/aknowledge it.

Updated Worried (see reply)
I
quit
drinking
60 days ago. They were all in normal range for all the years I've been drinking. Why up after quitting? Also, US of liver showed borderline right lobe and question of mild fatty infiltration. I'm worried to death I have fibrosis or hep c.

Drinking?
I haven’t drank in prolly close to a year (
quit
just because never had a
drinking
issue) I just feel like I need some normalcy lol ... if that makes any sense. Just have really been craving a beer lately.!

Possibly ascites but no other signs of liver problems. Drank quite a bit for years. Blood tests and ultrasound fine. What’s going on????
I
quit
drinking
instantly about 7 months ago. Lucky me: no withdrawals or side effects. In fact, I only miss drinking at social gatherings. Anyway, blood test for everything: liver, enzymes, kidneys, .... even an ultrasound which said I have some fatty tissue.

Husband with Cirrhosis
When he was diagnosed, doc said if he didn't
quit
drinking
he will die in 4-7 years. It's been a year since. He's angry and pushes me away. So now I stay a few feet back when it comes to his drinking. Can anyone relate?

Specialist Appointment
I've posted before about my situation I'm 140 days sober now I
quit
drinking
because I wanted to be a better dad to my two young boys. I have never had any health issues but have abused alcohol for 15 years long before my sons were around.

diet coke
I was a habitual diet coke drinker, maybe 3 to 4 cans a day and each time I decided to
quit
drinking
to try to be healthier Each bout of anxiety/depression occurred around these times when I quit and lingered for awhile.

New guy from Canada
I
quit
drinking
after many years of heavy abuse for no reason other than I wanted to quit for myself. I went for blood test and all were clear I requested an Ultrasound and with my history got one.

Since I started taking Cymbalta I
quit
drinking
. Obviously much better for me but I miss being able to zone out. Now for the first time I'm really dealing with my MS. Holy strombolie. I'm dealing with everything. My legs and feet were so swollen for so long my GP was worried about clots.

Happy New Year! 2 drink or not 2drink is my question.
In just 2 days we can all (1year and under) say we
quit
last year. :) Today am at 3months
quit
. I
quit
drinking
coffee and wine bc each seemed would trigger craves. I have had decaf coffee a few times lately and now feel more ok with it.

Obsessive thoughts that bring me down.
I am an older man and
quit
drinking
a few years ago. It seems that since I have gotten more physically and mentally healthy, these obsessive thoughts stand out. I am happy a lot too, and am definitely not suicidal, but I want to ask the questions: 1. Is this normal to obsess? 2.

When I settled down i
quit
drinking
so heavily but would have a drink maybe once a month but it would be a really heavy binge as all my social group did the same. This continued on til Dec 16 when my husband and I broke up for 4 months after a difficult year.
