Heart is breaking, so confused
He also offered the info that he
quit
drinking
and is working alot. I told him I'm happy for him. It was hell for me to get sober that's a huge accomplishment. But I told him, no. I dont blame him, I blame me.

I haven't touched cocaine since 1992,and I
quit
drinking
in 1994. I am very greatful for the mental health coverage i have; if only this was available before 2008! Meds have truly been a godsend for my emotional control. Thank you for listening

Over My Head
He has decided to
quit
drinking
and for anyone that has been through this, they know it is not easy. I am trying to stay very strong for him and help him through this but it is so very hard right now.

Anxiety/Panic/Hyphochondria Symptoms
It came down to me changing my lifestyle for the better(
quit
smoking and
drinking
) and improving my diet and exercise slowly. I had to regain my confidence and accept that this anxiety, panic and health anxiety was a sign my brain is forcing changes.

Hit by intense cravings out of the blue depression setting in.
I am about 4 and 1/2 months smoke free (cold turkey). I've been feeling great the last few weeks but last night as i lay in bed to go to sleep i was hit with intense cravings. So much so it started to make me feel sad in a way I've never felt before. Almost a deep sense of hopelessness. I managed to

His doctors have not suggested he
quit
drinking
, especially as he is cnsidered a light drinker ( at most, 5 drinks a month, and never more than 2 beers in a few hours, perhaps at a party) . I have never seen him drunk.

A very special celebration!
Today my baby turned 13 years old! He's my main reason for quitting. My son is handicapped and also can not speak. He needs me for everything. I use to look at smoking as a way to cope with the hard days and the stress of raising a child with disabilities. I have now seen the light. It's amazig the excuses

Find it hard to feel proud of myself
So I’ve recently
quit
drinking
alcohol, I’ve
quit
cigarettes and I’m taking driving lessons, but I find it hard to feel proud of myself, it feels like no matter what I do I can’t seem to give myself a break. A voice in my head keeps saying at 37 i should’ve achieved so much more.

My journey so far....hope that it helps others.....
So here I am on Friday....bored out my head.......so I am going to write about my experience in the hope that it may help even one person, I spent years tied to cigarettes. I desperately wanted to stop, but time went by, making me feel weak, powerless, and beaten down, and then anger set it....which

Back to square one.
I've got significant fibrosis (9.1 score) and a very fat liver but my consultant told me if i
quit
drinking
for approx a year and lost weight then my liver would recover.

Returning to a full life - help!?
I've
quit
drinking
, smoking and doing what I can to rest. But dying for some tips: I'm desperate to be back to work more predictably and wondered if anyone had any staggering tips, and am also dying to get back to exercise like yoga. Any advice would be gratefully received!

Elevated Liver Enzymes
I
quit
drinking
all alcohol. I do not take Tylenol or ibuprofen. The day I
quit
drinking
, Feb 8th 2018, I developed prostitis, and was on antibiotics for about 3 weeks. My doc doesn't think that has anything to do with the liver enzymes, but I'm defenitely concerned.
