OTD - definitive negative result
Well to say I’m gutted is an understatement. Our second IVF cycle (ICSI this time) went so much better than the first and we actually made it to embryo transfer this time. We’ve been trying to stay so hopeful and positive and I think we were really expecting a positive. But got my bloods done today and

Not sure what is going on
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with
Pulmonary
Fibrosis
approx August last year, I have undergone various tests and am left puzzled by the results. I do not see any of my Consultants until the end of January so thought I would ask on here if anyone can shed some light on my results.

Transitioning from Dalteparin to Rivaroxaban
My Hematology team have decided to take me off Dalteparin 15,000 IU/0.6 ml to Rivaroxaban 15 mg, this is because a recent DEXA scan has shown I have severe Osteoporosis in spine and hip, and they say Dalteparin can worsen Osteoporosis. They said I have to take both Dalteparin and Rivaroxaban together

Don't delay getting referred to Gynaecologist if your fibroid has reached 5 cm.
I discovered I had a fibroid when I was 34 and had a fertility check privately involving an ultrasound. It was picked up the size of a golf ball. I was advised to have an annual ultrasound scan. On my next NHS scan 2 years later it was 5 cm. My GP told me women have fibroids without knowing and they

Hi everyone I haven’t been on here for a while since we took a break of about a year following two failed cycles of ICSI. We moved and renovated a house which took all our time which also led to me changing job (I worked at home) so it’s been a lot of changes recently which I haven’t always dealt very

Spotting at day 9 of a frozen embryo transfer
I am on day 9 of a FET (5-day blasto-cyst), my test date is 20th Feb. Had quite a bit of brown spotting this time (started on day7, a bit, but a bit more yesterday, and today has been a little lighter) (this is my 2nd try - tried IVF in December and we were able to freeze 3 blastocysts, so two more left

Transfer buddies? Double FET set for 7th March
Hey everyone, On first cycle of IVF, having had egg collection and fresh embryo transfer in October 2018. I have been on Suprecur for a couple of weeks and just started Elleste Solo. Double embryo transfer is scheduled for 7th March; I'm told it is very rare for the date to be moved so have just booked

Decapeptyl SR injection - stopped after 27months waiting for cycle to start
Hi, This is my first post and I am hoping someone has experience and can share their experience with me. Has anyone been on injection long term and how long did it take for cycle to return when they stopped? Long story short - I was prescribed monthly injection and add back HRT to give me a break

Test day on the 20th Feb, anyone with me?
Hi all! So my test day is the 20th and as normal I can’t stop feeling every twinge and wondering if it worked! We’ve had a rough time and don’t have any frozen embys so really hoping these guys have stuck 😊 I’ve been having period like cramps ever since the blastocyst transfer, and boobs have been sore

Hysteroscopy, damaged fibroids and IVF
How long after a hysteroscopy (and treatment of fibroids) did you have to wait before next IVF round? Been back at EPU today with heavy bleeding 2 weeks after surgery for my MMC.. they now think my MC is over (despite positive pregnancy tests still) and instead they think my fibroids may have been compromised
