Awful pain day after embryo transfer
Hello, looking for some advice. Had 3 day embryo transfer yesterday at 11.30am. Everything went like clockwork and I felt fine afterwards. That was until about an hour and a half ago when I started feeling really sharp pains. I’ve been doubled over and crying since. I just called the ward at the hospital

⚠️ pregnancy update - please don’t read if it’ll upset you ⚠️
Hi everyone, Thought I’d post a little update as I’ve been really worried about over sharing on here but today I can’t believe I’ve reached 28 weeks, the 3rd and final trimester. This week I’ve also been able to reflect a lot on my anxiety and have realised that its not just down to suffering 2 mmc

Prostap, fibroids and IVF
Hello, hope everyone’s having a good Friday! I wondered if anyone has had experience of prostap for reducing fibroids before IVF (our donor egg IVF in my case). The doctor at the clinic abroad we are going to suggested I do it for 3 months to give me the best chance of successful implantation but I’m

Double or single transfer?
Hi everyone! We’ve had one failed round of IVF where we only collected one egg, made one embryo and transferred it at day 3 but had a BFN. This is our second NHS cycle now and has gone better. We’ve decided we’re not going to go on and on with cycles so this is our last shot as it’s the last NHS provided

Update 3 months since Ablation
Hi Everyone, just thought I’d update you all on where I am up too. So good news is I’ve been AF free since my few blips after my ablation in early November. I finish my rivaroxaban today 31/01/19 as instructed from my EP. So today is exactly 3 months post procedure. I’m a bit nervous about coming off

Pulmonary Function Tests
Has anyone had a pulmonary function test with results ranging from 50 to 48? What treatments are you on? What did your doctor recommend? I have lung scarring.

The waiting room.
Sat here in the waiting room, Watching for my name. To go and see the doctor Well that is why I came. Not to watch the silver screen, For it to show my name. I watch TV at home not here That was not my aim. But now I keep my eyes glued, Cos my hearings not too good. I need to see my name on screen,

Recent diagnosis and pain
Hi there I've just recently been diagnosed with Endo, I'm 20 and I'm feeling very worried about what this all means and left in the dark. I just wondered if anyone could shed any light on any tips especially when it comes to managing pain, I've had chronic lower back and pelvic pain for some time now

Stents
Hubby has APS and was on warfarin but was removed from it to insert 2 stents. They stopped the warfarin, and then put him on aspirin after stents inserted. He then, within days, had clots block the stents. They then inserted some sort of puffer machine to ‘puff’ out clots and put him on iv heparin. Now

Cetrotide storage
Hi ladies Just a quick question are you meant to store the cetrotide injections in the fridge or are they ok being left out at room temp? I was under the impression they didn’t need to but I’ve just seen on the box about refrigeration and now I’m a little worried Tia x

Red meat is worse than smoking
So: red meat and cancer. According to the WHO, scientists have discovered that yet another standard component of our ancestral diet is terribly bad for you. This is one of the more bizarre assertions in a 50-year history of nutrition-related nonsense: that such an august institution should be putting

Bowel and uterus stuck together
I just recently had laparoscopic surgery to have cyst removal and a full hysterectomy. Four years ago I had a colostomy and had it reversed which left me with an enormous amount of scar tissue. I am happy to say that 2 days after surgery I can finally have a successful bowel movement without laxatives

Introducing myself
I have Idiopathic
Pulmonary
Fibrosis
, first diagnosed in 2013. My breathing only started giving me difficulties in 2017. At the beginning of 2018 I was put on nintedanib, then in July 2018 I had a stroke. This was a simple stroke i.e. it's main effect was to paralyse the left side of my body.
