Testosterone is increasing? Should I be worried?
Hello everyone, Since my father’s surgery in 2022, his
PSA
levels have been undetectable. He receives a Zoladex injection every three months. Until this month, the reference range for total testosterone was 1.93 - 7.40 ug/L, and his result was 0.126 ug/L.

Rising PSA
A gradual increase in
PSA
(1.2) with the prospect of changes to treatment if it continues at the current rate and gets near to 4. The oncologist is suggesting probably chemo but I would like to know more about other options before that discussion so that I am prepared.

225Ac-PSMA-I&T works well even after Pluvicto in small trial
It's small number of heavily-treated mCRPC patients, but 42% of those who already had Pluvicto had a
PSA
reduction of ≥50% from 225Ac-PSMA-I&T. Surprisingly, no Grade 3 Xerostomia. Phase III trials will likely follow.

Non metastasis castrate resistant
When you are on ADT and become Non metastatic Castrate resistant and your testosterone levels are below zero, what is the cancer feeding off to cause the
PSA
to still rise? Hoping for your replies so as to give me some understanding. Thank you.

Anyone out there try the carnivore diet.
Eligard and Erleada have got my
PSA
down from 195 down to 0.01. I have been watching a lot of YouTube video's touting the health benefits of a carnivore diet. So far the only prostate diet person posting video's on YouTube that I am familiar with is Guy Tannenbaum but he is basically a vegan .

post radiation. Currently on ADT. PSA slight increase ?
his
PSA
was sitting 0.03 but has jumped to 0.08. Is this any cause for concern? I took it as a positive as it sounds extremely low but now second guessing ..

5 aRIs and PCa and recurrence.
I’m recurrent in prostate bed with three negative PSMA PET scans and essentially unchanged size of enhancing nodule over 18 months on three MRIs DUT and FIN began when
PSA
reached 0.36. In six weeks dropped to 0.26 after beginning DUT and FIN. they are affecting sensitivity of the PSMA scans.

He has been off any tx since Aug. 2023 and his last
PSA
, was the same as 6 mos. prior, which was and is .014. Pre any Tx,
PSA
was 10.46 I hope this info helps you. Obviously, he did not have to go on chemo, nor was it recommended by his Radiation Oncologist.

Stopping Orgovyx after six months
He had a PT ten years ago but his
PSA
rose so he got salvage radiation and went on Orgovyx. His MO said he would be on it for 18 months, as is SOC. He didn't like his MO so he switched to a GU MO. That MO said the research showed six months of ADT was enough. Has anybody heard of this? I haven't.

Good news. Hope it can help others.
Psa
258 , Gleason 9. Just met with my MO for latest scan results.
PSA
has steadily gone down, currently 0.17 . Lymph nodes are clear. Still have mets to several areas to bones but holding steady. Did 6 rounds of docxitacel , Nubeqa twice a day, Lupron once a month.

Radiation PSA, Orgovyx, Bone density
Rouge clone radiation on 10/31/23 has
PSA
continuing to drop to 0.85. MO plans to monitor
PSA
before requesting PSMA scan (insurance) unless it is increasing.

Any enzalutamide for chemo?
Tall Allen recently posted about a trial in which taking enzalutamide during docetaxel chemotherapy might help get the
PSA
down. Abiraterone failed for me recently and I’m re-challenging with docetaxel. I’m based in the UK, and NHS protocol doesn’t allow this.

Targeting Mets w SBRT- what’s your experience?
But does that make any sense, since the PSMA scan doesn’t show anything at undetectable
psa
levels? I’ve been on Orgovyx and Erleada ever since the scan ( and one more year sometime prior to it). Now I remain
psa
undetectable, castrate sensitive, and eager to stay that way if possible!
