after EBRT …monitoring?
I’d imagine routine blood panels, monitoring
PSA
, but should I expect another PSMA PET scan at some point? A MRI? Thanks in advance .

Side effects from Xtandi monotherapy?
after failing multiple times on regular ADT plus SBRT and finally failing LU– 177 and Provenge, my
PSA
went on the rise again. I’ve been on mono Xtando for six weeks and not feeling well despite trying to exercise heavily. Going in for bloodwork tomorrow. What kind of labs should I ask for?

PSA post Salvage Radiation
He had clean margins and reached undetectable
PSA
after Prostatectomy. Near the end of 5th year after surgery his
PSA
became detectable. He did salvage radiation at .09
PSA
. His
PSA
went down to .08 after 3 months and to .03 after 6 months.

PSA after Radiation
My husband just finished his 28th session of EBRT yesterday, and the doctor did a
PSA
test after for a baseline. We just saw this morning that it is at 8.8! We were expecting it to be much lower. Is this normal? His
PSA
before radiation was around 12.9, if that helps.

6 months after radiation
I went for blood work and my
PSA
has dropped significantly and I do not have an infection. I’m wondering what the issue could be…seems like it would have cleared by now?

Actium 225 after Pluvicto
Initially the results were good with a significant decrease in
PSA
. Over the past several months my
PSA
is rising and a recent PSMA scan has shown some spreading of the cancer.

My journey thus far
Retest for
PSA
was 24.8 so no major changes in
PSA
since October. Currently I am trying to decide between surgery or radiation. I was leaning toward radiation but the 2 years of ADT and those side effects are really a deterrent now that I know more.

Question
Everything was good until recently with an increase in
PSA
from non detectable to .167 and a subsequent PSMA scan showed no bone mets but 2 small areas of cancer, Gleason 10, at the base of my prostate. I was wondering what might be the next recommended treatments?

Need info on blood in urine
Had prostate removed Sept. 2019 and had radiation winter 2020/2021 because
PSA
was going higher. Radiation is causing blood in my urine periodically. Now that I am older the blood in my urine seems to occur more often. I read on the internet that if I can urinate, don't worry about it.

PSA holding low after all!!
As I complained a couple of months ago that
PSA
could be increasing, today the
PSA
moved a bit down from 0.03 3 months ago to 0.01 today :-), so I needed to write a few words here about my feelings.

Antihistamines for hot flushes
Commenced quarterly goserelin injections and
PSA
became unmeasurable. Side effects fatigue plus hot flushes roughly hourly day and night plus increased night urination. GP prescribed antihistamine which we agreed on as 10 mg Cetirizine morning and 10 mg Phenergan evening.

177Lu-PSMA-617: Trial shows it's more effective than changing ARPIs
This analysis found that treatment with 177Lu-PSMA-617 prolonged radiographic progression-free survival, improved
PSA
response rate, and increased objective response rate compared to a change in ARPI, regardless of whether patients had received prior abiraterone or enzalutamide."

How to monitor PCa after you stop ADT?
I plan to stop ADT next time when it's due, as my
PSA
is always "undetectable" and it's been 4 years of physical and mental torment for me (the side effects). I think that enough is enough now. Does anyone have advice on the best ways to keep an eye on any re-occurence? Is
PSA
enough?

Help to do BAT treatment for my dad. Located in Norway.
Treated with Bicalutamide and Zoladex injection until rise in
PSA
18 months ago. Increasing
PSA
from 6-12 on chemotherapy through last summer. September he was put on Xtandi which unfortunately gave him horrible side effects and we had to stop.

Change in PSA
My
PSA
has been <.064 for a couple years. This time it was <.05. The test is always done by the same lab. Does this mean anything?

Does orgasm return post-ADT
This is a whole new low for me in this experience and I’m really starting to understand why most agencies recommend against
PSA
testing — it sends us all into this nightmare.
