Cortisol Level - is there a part of the range which is best? Also serum FSH, LH and Prolactin - any ideas on these?
Just a quick question. My cortisol result is in range. But it's in the lower part. Is it best to have a cortisol reading at the top end of the range? I ask for two reasons: 1) I suffer chronic dehydration and I was reading low cortisol can interfere with hydration levels 2) I suffer high heart

Chronic Dehydration and hypo? Link to cortisol? Pituitary function tests listed - any ideas? Please jump in and comment!
I suffer chronic dehydration. My pH is always acidic. My specific gravity is always high and reads I've severe dehydration. I've tried alkalizing drops, dessicated adrenal support and DHEA. And no matter what type (T4, NDT or T3) or dose level of thyroid replacement I take it does not alter. Reading

Saw my Endo today and... (Addison's Disease)
she has agreed to give me all of the tests people on this group have recommended so thank you all so much. I wouldn't have known what to ask for without your support. She does however seem very set on the ranges being set in stone and this is a little worrying. The reason she agreed to the additional

Possible link, High Prolactin and polycythaemia vera
I would just like to ask you all if anyone amongst the community has a history of hyperprolactinaemia. When I was 28 years old I was diagnosed with a benign pituitary tumour which caused my prolactin level to run out of control to ten times the normal perameters. At that time I was told it was a rare
