ADHD and relationships
Hi there everyone, I've been diagnosed with ADHD for about 5 years now. It explains a lot about why I do weird stuff but not why I have seem to have trouble with relationships. For example, it seems to take me forever to get over difficult events, like a break up. I have an almost obsessive thinking

Benlysta
A few weeks ago I was approved to begin Benlysta therapy. I currently take Azathioprine, Hydroxychloroquine, Losartin (bp) and Tramadol (pain). It seems that my meds are no longer effective, so my Rheumy will start me on Benlysta. Is there anyone currently on Benlysta? If so, does it seem to work for

Ovulation Induction - advice?
Hi all! I'm about to embark into OI for the first time. I must admit that I find my body very confusing, and feel daft asking the consultant/nurses about my cycle. Does anybody have any experience of OI in general or tips? Some background: My cycles are long (and period is too), and varies in length.

A new avenue to explore
Hey all. I've read some research over my time with PD on gamma and alpha light therapy. The papers didn't seem too positive as regards its efficacy but I have some close friends who have had some very good results with this. One had PD and the other early Alzheimers. Note that the former is correctly

DNA Repair/ Cockayne Syndrome and Niagen.
I knew that nicotinamide riboside was headed for a human clinical trial in Cockayne Syndrome, but I never found any underlying animal model research that explained why researchers were interested in this line of study . . . until today. Just found it. What's interesting is that it links to a plethora

What is exploding head syndrome?
Have just been surprised by an item on the Guardian newspaper website. Although probably off-topic, the number of weird-and-wonderful symptoms reported is huge. I can't honestly remember either of these being mentioned - but I could easily have missed them. And how awful if there were a thyroid connection

Itchy throat
Taking Synthroid first thing in the morning seems to make my throat itchy, or I just feel a sensitivity there. Only on day three of beginning. Before that I tried taking generic synthroid for one day, but that made me feel real bad. (body doesn't like generics) But the brand Synthroid works better for

Could use some hope!
G’morning fellow friends. My son is experiencing some very concerning mental health behaviors. Anxiety, anger, paranoid thinking, lack of appetite, eating. This is not new, just escalating and a wife now. And she is just not “having” it, which is so welcome. We have tried for many years to get him to

Exercise after one day after ablation, really? Should I?
Hi everyone. So Monday I had my cardiac ablation. Found out I have SVT and not Atrial Flutter. I feel great. Meaning I did not expect to feel as well as I am. I have no bruises and feel hardly any pain. EP doc said I could immediately start jogging and working out if I wanted and not to worry about etopics

Post Ablation 3 months
It has been three months since my cardiac ablation for PAC's and irregular beats. It hasn't been easy for me by any means. Almost every side effect that could happen has happened. I'm so worried that the ablation didn't work, but it's my understanding by my doctor this could take three to six months
