Neurologist or psychiatrist?
Up until five years ago my antidepression medication was prescribed by a psychiatrist. Five years ago I started seeing a neurologist for my major depressive disorder. He prescribed Viibryd and I have been on it ever since. I see him three times a year and each time I see him, I let him know about my

OCD Advice Needed
Hi, i have not been professionally diagnosed with OCD but i personally believe i have been suffering with it for the past 2+ years as i spend 1-3 hours everyday either cleaning, sorting things out ( Symmetry and making things look 'just right' is one of my biggest obsessions) and also checking things

I can only take on so much
Keeping it short as it's late, my youngest (20, autism, transgender, bipolar) was taken by her dad as a way to get out of paying child support, it's been over a year and we've had no real contact. My ex is a snake. Recently she came over and said she heard I was going through a hard time (4 months after

Seeking advice on obtaining B12 and self-injection supplies
Hello. I am considering self-administering B12 via intramuscular injection, due to persistent deficiency symptoms and lack of progress with my Doctor. I have consulted online resources to learn the injection technique, but am still not sure where to purchase the B12 and syringes, needles, alcohol swabs

Mucuna Pruriens and Excessive Urination
I am taking Mucuna Pruriens in concert with EGCG (Decaffeinated) and Quercetin. I always have to stay near a bathroom for 45-90 minutes after I take it to make frequent (every 10-20 minutes) trips to the bathroom. Is the Mucuna a diuretic? Anyone else experiencing this problem? It really messes up

Helpless and hopeless
I'm new here. I have had major depression and bipolar since I was a teenager, though I haven't had any manic episodes (thanks to Zyprexa) since teenager. Just to be clear, I am not suicidal, no interest in self-harm (not since teenager), so no worries there. After I was kicked off my dad's insurance

Paroxetine
Has anyone been prescribed paroxetine for anxiety? If yes then do you feel sleepy and like yawning the whole day? I have been feeling it these days and it feels embarrassing when people are around.

Thinking of a Cardiac Ablation
I’ve been reading quite a bit from people who have had or are thinking of Cardiac Ablation. I just want to add my 2 cents. I had my Ablation on June 18,2018. The Doctor said it went perfectly. 2 days later I was easily walking up/down stairs two Fridays later I was on the tennis court and the next day

Going to freakin miss my little girl
Hello everyone. I’m at my daughters grandparents house right now as I type this. I’m driving my little girl, her mom, stepfather, and little brother to the airport. They’re going away for 14 days. My daughters never been away that long from me ever since she was born. Ever since becoming disabled

Seeking info on options for treatment-resistant major depression
Thanks in advance to everyone who reads or replies. I've lived recurring episodes of major depression for 30 years. I've managed pretty well over the years by making lifestyle and career choices that were flexible enough to work around the down times. Had reached a good balance with minimal episodes

Maybe I deserve all this...?
I’ve suffered a long and painful life, but for awhile I thought that had marginally improved. I’d survived two spinal surgeries, two heart valve replacements, a cardiac ablation, plus three lesser operations on my left knee and one on my right hand. I learned to walk all over again three times, and was

Cytomel Hyper Symptoms
Hi. I see this Endo in a few days. Meanwhile, since adding 5mcg Cytomel around ten days ago to 112mcg Synthroid (previously was self dosing on 125mcg), I’ve noticed that for the past few days I’ve been sweating a lot and feeling jittery. Feels like I’m over medicated. Right now I take the Cytomel

Cough and Phelgm After RF Cardiac Ablation with TOE
Hi all, I ended up having an RF abalation with TOE on Monday and so far so good with the heart. I have ended up some shortness of breath with a productive cough clearing Phelgm from my chest and a very sore throat . Is this due to the TOE or should I be talking to my doctor further ?

Hey y’all...I’m 34 and had a cardiac ablation 2 years ago for afib...totally cured...however once every few months I get skipped beats that last a few hours and then resolve spontaneously. They usually present when I’m exhausted...can someone help relieve my anxiety. If I even have the smallest of skipped

How to stay Afib free after a successful cardiac ablation.
Having had an ablation last October I am AFib free for now and want to stay that way for as long as I can. Are my old Afib triggers still to be avoided? Is high intensity exercise OK? Grateful for any comments or anecdotes!
