Does low fat equal weight loss?
I'm 25 now and for the past ten years of my life I've had issues with weight. I've been up and down in terms of weight, but mostly up. I've tried various different 'healthy eating' plans over the 10 years which have all helped to a very small extent. I don't think I'm alone in this, I start a new 'diet

Vitamin D3 - higher doses
Really interesting video on vitamin D3. Apparently, most of us are now deficient and we are not taking enough. Gives advice on safe higher doses. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HH1rB-Ya2UQ I'd also recommend the book, "The Miraculous Effects of High Doses of Vit D3 and K2..." By Jeff Bowles.

Does zinc make periods last longer?
I have been taking evening
primrose
oil
capsules and zinc to see if that helps with my endo pain during period. I also have been taking naproxen five days before period started to help ease my pains. It worked for the most part.

Hormones!
I've been managing it with evening
primrose
oil
, agnus castus, and vit b6 which has helped maintain the numb level of feelings and had stopped me feeling totally down (and is why I think this is hormones) but I'm reaching the point where I just don't want to feel like this anymore.

Do You Remember The Winter Of 1963?
Do you remember your school being shut because of the snow and the boilers weren't working or the desks were frozen to the floor or it was just the wrong kind of snow? I do have a clear and vivid memory of my little brother trudging over the fields in his wellies...and short trousers...all on his own

Red faced enraged Monday
This morning after a night of extreme duvet turbulence brought about by the delights of my own itchy and scratchy show, I was rudely awoken by the unmistakable sound of a vomiting cat, unfortunately heaving heavily behind my bedroom curtains, it's explosive contents overspilling onto a hot radiator

After chemo...
My husband was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer at the end of June. Subsequent CT showed lymph node involvement and metastasis in the liver, so no surgery. He is just finishing his 6th cycle of ECX regime having had his last infusion of Cisplatin and Epirubicin 10 days ago, so just 11 days' worth of

Ibs
Hi New to group. Started to get symptoms of ibs about three months ago although I'm 65. I did have ibs about thirty years ago which cleared up after a short time thanks mainly to peppermint oil capsules - can you use brand names? Trying them now as current doctor not very helpful, had blood tests

IPF and aerosols
Hi all, quite new to this really. Husband recently confirmed with IPF so trying to find things out, sometimes reading up is quite haed. Anyway does anyone know what the thinking is about using aerosols, room ones and deodorant ones? Also do you know if there is any harm in burning essential oils? So
