I am a vegetarian and I take a vitamin B complex every day and also sevenseas "active" omega 3 fish oil for my joints, but I guess it should benefit more than that.

I avoid taking cod liver oil as a doctor once told me it was high in cholesterol, which surprised and concerned me as it is so widely taken.

I take a high potency one that says sardines and mackel. It was the most expensive one of the lot so that why I thought it was the best. I thought for sure it would of been cod. Do you have a lot of cholesterol in your diet! I think it would a problem if you already had high choloestral. But of course I am not a doctor so maybe I am wrong.

Thank you for your reply. It was my mother who had high cholesterol, and her doctor who told me about cod liver oil.

The last time it was checked it was 5.2, which my doctor wasn't too concerned about, but I gather that is boarder line.

I use semi-skimmed milk, I rarely fry food, and only use Rapeseed oil. But, I think I eat too much chocolate and I also use Clover spread!

you need to look at all the three blood numbers, blood pressure, blood glucose and blood cholesterol (LIPID) numbers. Food intake low cab fight fat is the food you need to be looking for. Looking at changing from the old school of food intake!!!!
