diabetes due to fibrosis?
Hello I have been diagnosed with diabetes type 2. I am not overweight and have no family history of diabetes. I have had problems with fluctuating liver values but never very high. I wonder if anyone recognizes this? could my diabetes be due to liver fibrosis?

adalimumab and supplements
hi, I’m starting with the above drug. Can I still take bodybuilding, protein, supplements, such as whey protein, and creatine? Also, before I start, should I get vaccinated for shingles and pneumococcal? Cheers Tony

W7:3 Fasting, timing, pacing, slowing
Well… I got out there, did the 25 minutes, and within a few minutes of stopping, felt OK. But the contrast between the last run, which felt easy, and this one, which is best described as ‘battling’, felt disappointing. I knew I hadn’t ‘cracked it’ and not all 25 minute runs would feel easy henceforth

Just saying hello.
I have joined this group because I have decided to stop killing myself with my bad habits and lifestyle choices. I am 71 years young obese with hypertension and diabetes I also have a problem with alcohol. I joined the drink free group on here about eight months ago and it has certainly helped, so now

Magic Magnesium Malate
Has anyone else tried this New Nordic magic magnesium Malate. I'm taking one tablet a day instead of recommended two. Each tablet has 120mg of magnesium, some b vitamins, which I'm used to but 2 extracts new to me. One has maritime pine bark extract 150mg per 2 tabs and some long pepper extract. I

Octasa / Mesalazine - Should I be seeing more of a change?
Hello. I have struggled with symptoms for 2 years - loose, frequent bowels, always with urgency, fatigue, etc. Had colonoscopy and relevant tests and doctor says that I likely have crohns and is treating me as such. I had steroids for 3 months which generally helped (though my calprotectin was higher

Nausea - is it the pred, or something else?
A year ago I had a warning about
pre
-
diabetes
, and because of that and needing to reduce weight for the planned op, I put myself on a low calorie, low-carb diet. That has been really successful: I have lost over 1.5 stone, and my last bloods in the autumn showed improvement in blood sugar.

Diabetes
When I lost 33lbs I found I was no longer in the Diabetic range. So it is possible and worthwhile! I no longer take Metformin. I have found I am not losing more weight for now despite still being quite restrictive in my diet. I have developed kidney stones which may be because I never ate much fat so

Drug fails in Phase II trial for treating Parkinson's Disease - Exenatide (Byetta, Bydureon)
Evidence suggest that microglia are relevant to Parkinson's disease pathogenesis, therefore the recent clinical trial warranted exploration of trying to attenuate pathogenic microglial function. They sought to test the safety and efficacy of NLY01—a brain penetrant, pegylated, longer-lasting version

Good vitamins and supplements
Hi, I have created a good supply of embryos on vitamins and supplements despite DOR and advanced age (43-44). I was planning to continue most of these for my transfers and bought some additional supplements that are good for transfers (such as Arginine, Carnitine, etc). Unfortunately I also have

My results showed that l did not have
diabetes
but that l was
pre

Fluid at back of eye
I am not diabetic though I had a very low
pre
diabetes
HbA1c result (42) at an NHS health check a year ago. I have since lost two stone and changed my diet and exercised more so my reading now is about 35, so well within the healthy range.

Trimbow and Blood Sugar Level
Hello everyone. I've been lurking for a while and now have a question for you. Has anyone found their blood sugar level going up when using a Trimbow inhaler? If yes, what if anything did you do about it? Thanks for listening.
