Stopping medication for preeclampsia after birth
I was told to keep taking the medication (labetalol) until my 6 week checks (today). The disinterested gp said I could just stop taking it but the leaflet says to reduce to stop. Can I ask whether anyone else stopped cold turkey? I was on a 2000mg in pregnancy and dropped to 400mg since. Blood pressure

Sod's Law. Due for colonoscopy this morning, so spent the last 3 days on a white diet, no alcohol, yesterday went through the Moviprep routine to empty bowels, spent all evening on and off toilet, most unpleasant. Got up at 2am this morning for toilet, and guess what, of course, AF suddenly kicked in

Struggling to bring down blood sugars
Hi Friends, As some of you know I've been on a journey and taking T3 was the real game changer. I am under the care of a fantastic private Endo. I've included my thyroid and sugar results in this post. My insulin is elevated indicating insulin resistance. All tests are done fasting and no meds

I was diagnosed with GCA in November and was started on 40mg of prednisone.
I experienced really bad steroid induced diabetes which seems a bit more in control now. I am currently down to 8mg of Prednisone, then 120mg of Glyclazide and 500mg of Metformin for the diabetes In the last few days I have felt very depressed and anxious. I am not sure if this is related to my
