Oh no!!! Allergic to wk9š©
Iāve hit a massive wall. I attempted wk9 run1 on Saturday and had to stop after 20 minutes as I just had nothing left. I wasnāt too concerned as Iād had a diabetic hypo a couple of hours earlier so it probably wasnāt a good idea to go out anyway. So, off I went this morning with a positive mental

I have a serious sugar addiction and I need to give it up. Help!
Okay so I'm 22 nearly 23. Ever since I was about 15 I started getting addicted to sugar. Over the years it's gotten worse and worse. I'm not even comfortable typing how much I consume daily because I'm too embarrassed by it. Lets just say I'm amazed I haven't gotten diabetes yet or any other serious

What a stress buster!
After a really busy few weeks at work and a particularly stressful day yesterday I decided to take a couple of hours out this morning to do W9 R1 somewhere nice. Iāll make the hours up over the rest of the week and more Iām sure! Within seconds I was focused on putting one foot in front of the other,

Newbie post - unexplained prediabetes.
For over two years I have had prediabetic HbA1c test results, creeping upwards from 43mmol/mol in a routine test in May 2018 to 47 at the last test (just before lockdown in March). 48 will indicate diabetes. After the first test result I bought a blood glucose monitor and, whilst, thoroughly researching

Pred and prediabetic
I was diagnosed with
pre
diabetes
in early January with a blood sugar reading of 6.4, I weighed 202lbs. I am 5'9" tall. By the middle of March I had another test and was down to 185lbs and my blood sugar reading was down to 5.7 well back in check. I was a happy boy.

New test better predicts which babies will develop type 1 diabetes...
A new approach to predicting which babies will develop type 1 diabetes moves a step closer to routine testing for newborns which could avoid life-threatening complications. Scientists at seven international sites have followed 7,798 children at high risk of developing type 1 diabetes from birth

Interesting article about the effects of fasting.
https://nationalpost.com/health/fasting-for-three-days-renews-entire-immune-system-protects-cancer-patients-remarkable-new-study-finds I came across this article regarding fasting. It sounds too good to be true, but... I am inclined to go ahead and give it a try. Perhaps closer to my next CBC check,

Newbie here, I started yesterday.
In January 20 I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Between Jan 20 - Jul 20 I lost 4 stone body weight with diet alone. I have some way to go but am confident I can hit a healthy BMI before the end of the year. In Aug 20 I decided to take up C25K to help with my fight against diabetes - I really want

Stretching
I keep forgetting to stretch after my runs. Week 2 1st run and my shins felt like they had pins and needles. This wears off during the run but I suspect its because I haven't been stretching. I don't want to have to give up so I'll try to remember. So far it's not been as bad as I thought. I hate running

Not the news I wanted
Well - thatās a bit of a bummer - following my recent set of blood tests, I received a phone call from the surgery; in a rather too enthusiastic voice (I thought) I was told āyou are officially diabetic......ā āYour previous result was 48 and your last one was 52 - Iām putting that down as steroid-induced

Determined to keep type 2 Diabetes free
One of my motivators to reduce my waist size and lose weight is not to tip into the type 2 Diabetes from being prediabetic. A weight loss buddy is aiming to reverse Diabetes so we cheer each other on.

Day 10 of stims, need to increase lining, caster oil / L'Arginine?
Hi everyone, so had my day 9 scan yesterday. Not amazing but as expected with my low amh ( have two big follicles at 12+/ five at 10+ which will hopefully catch up!) But as normal my lining is thin ( about 6 ) so I'm currently on... 1 avocado a day, lots of whole milk, ridiculous amount of fruit and
