Update About visit to consultant
The visit was a great relief as I wasn't looking forward to it at all. A very knowledgable nurse took my blood pressure with a stethoscope and arm band and got an accurate reading of145/60 which is brilliant for me in hospital surroundings. The cardiologist was pleasant and pleased he wanted me to

Trazadone!!
I am 42 years old and have been on Citalopram for 23 years now!! I went to my GP to tell them, that I don't think they are working anymore, as I am starting to feel really low again. They put me on Trazadone, only a low dose to start, but within 2 weeks of taking the low dose, I began to feel extremely

3rd time my mum is waking up from sedation. 3rd time lucky? She is still not 'co-operating' after 4 days although she seems there to me....
I've written here a few times which was very helpful. My mum has ARDS and was put into ICU 4 weeks ago tomorrow. She was sedated and put on a ventilator, then ECMO, then after 5 days they took her off ECMO as she 'passed with flying colours' says the doctor. Then she caught Pseudomonas and was re sedated

Hi all. I've been suffering wiv severe panic attacks for a while now and have been put on citalopram 20mg and 2mg diazepam. The past week
I've been worrying about leaving my home! Is this normal? I had to go to the doctors last week and I was a total wreck. I know it's all in my head but is there any way of me sorting this out as I don't want to be locked away from the world

3 hour panic attack
I had to pull over on the motorway yesterday as I had a extreme panic attack again. The police and ambulance came took my car away. I had to take 6mg of diazepam to finally calm me down after 3 hours. I was convinced I was having a heart attack. I'm having these worse full blown attacks every day at

Hi guys, I have just finished FCR chemo 4 of 6. Every chemo has knocked me sideways on the 5 days i take "c+r" but the sickness has just got worse and worse. It was thought i would only have 4 sessions as treatment has gone so well but they now want me to complete the 6 as its hoped it will make me MRD

Tramadol becomes a controlled drug from 10th June 2014
Hi All, I don't know how many of you will be affected but I know I am not the only fibromite who is prescribed tramadol as a matter of routine as little else touches my pain. This morning I saw the emergency GP about this horrific pain in my back and loins which has stopped me being able to function

Hello everybody
Reading some of the posts here has made me realise that all the other problems that plague me may be associated with rls. I've had rls for about 12 years and now on Neupro patches. The original, traditional symptoms have eased, now it's more jerks and twitches, cramps and pains. I get pains in my arms

Dance exam tonight and am really anxious!
I am praying I don't go to pieces once I get out on the floor. I'm not sure what would be best to take as an anti-anxiety measure that won't leave me feeling groggy and unable to focus. I only have a couple of hours before it starts. In the natural supplements I have magnesium (I will be taking 200mg

Muscle spasms
I've had sciatica for the last 7 weeks or so. It eased up a bit the last couple of weeks but has returned today as bad as ever, which is pretty bad! Currently can't sit for more than a few minutes and very painful when i walk. I've had to go back on stronger pain relief - morphine and diazepam, which

Can anyone help me with the symptoms I discribe.
Omg. I suffer from these awful belching spells all day and all night. It never lets up. I feel like it is a brick in the pit of my tummy. I cough but can't get any spit up. Throat is very red but not sore. I can't eat or drink without suffering even if it is the smallest amount of soup. I can't swallow

My APS husband has had two strokes (first 10 years ago, second last August) and this week a probable TIA. The neurologist given to us by
the hospital put him on 81mg aspirin along with the warfarin he takes because his INR was 2.5 when we got here and has been in the mid 2s to low 3s for months. Just wondered if any more of you are on both aspirin and warfarin and how you are getting along with that. He also is suffering from severe

Can I take Co-codamol with Arcoxia and diazepam?
I'm currently taking 90mg of Arcoxia a day for lower back pain. I've just aggravated my condition and sent my back into spasm so my doctor gave me some Diazepam as well. I'm still in pain though so was wondering if it would be safe to throw some Co-codamol into the mix as well?
