Back - had my psychiatric appointment
I've really missed these forums while I've been struggling to log in. It's good to be back. Having turned down psychiatric referrals for over 30 years, I had one last week! I was afraid she would want to make major changes to my medication etc. but she was lovely. I can stick with my tricyclic.

Emotional rollercoaster :-((
Today has been so tough. Bit of background informationabout me. I'm 32 years old and was diagnosed with rhumatoid arthritis when I was 24. Being diagnosed with something like that at such a young age is heart breaking, before my diagnosis I haven't had any problems with my joints and was relatively healthy

Just started on Lustral (sertraline) yesterday - feeling scared.
I have been trying to deal with anxiety issues and panic attacks which have gradually got worse over the past couple of years. At the moment the main anxiety is health anxiety but this is coupled with not being able cope with a loss of control so that, for example, I become terrified if my child is

Panic, trazadone and diazepam.
I've recently started getting night time panics after about a year of being panic free. Last night was the worst I can remember in a long time. I went to bed exhausted, I had a job getting upstairs, and when I got intio bed I was asleep almost instantly, for twenty minutes... I woke like a light switch

Yet another new tablet
I think I have seen on this site before, but has any one been given Lyrica as an add on to all the other tablets for pain relief Has anyone taken this tablet and if so has it helped. I took one earlier and I felt very strange and I have lost a couple of hours. I don't think I was a sleep but I have

Zoladex-terrifying reaction-hopsital visit!
Hi everyone I was taken to hospital in an ambulance on Sunday night with uncontrolable neck spasms. I was one of the scariest things I have ever gone through. They concluded at the hospital it was some sort of reaction to the zoladex. I have fibronyalgia which is contraindicated for Zoladex. I suffer

I'm dying, alone, in a miserable situation and trying to fight everyone that I deal with, almost.
I have decided, after a call to a useless worker on a helpline, to cut nobody an inch of slack with regards my self-medicating. I have used psychoactive stimulant chemicals for a number of years now to hold depression at bay. I'm breaking no law, but going against medical advice, with a badly damaged

Waking up panicking
Had a bad morning today, I woke up panicking which at 5:30 am is really hard to deal with, I didn't take a lorazepam before bed so it might have been that aswell as ibs but I don't want to become reliant on them, but I also don't want to wake up panicking of no reason, back to the docs and hypnotherapist

main anxiety symptom sickness/vomiting/nausea?
ok, so I've suffered on and off with anxiety for about 13 years, but majorly the last 5. The main symptom that gets me is SEVERE nausea quite often leading to vomiting :( not helped that I have a fear of sick anyway! This can literally come from no where! if it's a situation where I know I am anxious

Beta Blockers
Hi all I hope you're feeling somewhat calm! So the doc put me on beta blockers two days ago. I was told to take three a day as needed and that they stop adrenalin. However I've been having side affects - exhaustion and an upset tummy. So that means I'm getting used to them. That means if I take them

Strange attack of the arms and not legs.
So, I previously posted a question regarding the drug interaction between an SSRI and Tramadol because I was worried about Serotonin poisoning. Last night I dutifully took my Diazepam and attempted to get a good nights sleep - and weirdly I had the most awful attack or RLS (RAS?!) in my arms...and not

Advice needed on taking Tramadol with Sertraline
Hi everyone, I have just discovered this forum - it's a godsend. I have had RLS for about ten years now but recently discovered after a serious ankle fracture that Tramadol completely eases my restless legs. Last week I went to the doctors for an unrelated issue, and have been prescribed the anti-depressant
