Mycophenolate begone!
Hi, was going to post on Barnclowns myco thread but decided that any negative reaction to mycophenolate probably should go somewhere else. Spoiler alert - not a positive post having not been posting here for a long time though I do read every day. I have SLE / RA / Fibro, Reynauds, possibly vasculitis

PICC line
I am half way through my chemo cycles and having tests this week to check my progress. I had an MRI yesterday and it all went well with the help of lorazepam to keep me calm. The only hiccup was inserting the cannula needle for the contrast dye, I have been having increasing problems with my poor veins

The last day
I'm standing on our balcony watching the sun go down. Finvola lives round the corner from one of those headlands. Just musing on the fact that there were times in the past nine weeks when I was convinced that I wouldn't see this view again, but that isn't what I wanted to tell you. On my last day, (yesterday

Had a bad day yesterday, went to the bathroom as normal when I got up and felt very weak afterwards, had breakfast and my tablets, within 1/2 hour had to dash to the loo again, felt even more weak afterwards but attempted to persevere and got ready to go out, left the flat to go to the bus stop and halfway

Psychiatrist Visit
I finally went to the psychiatrist today and wasn't feeling well at all. I had a lot on my mind and was completely overwhelmed. My blood pressure was high, even though I take medication to control it. I also would not talk much, but my psychiatrist knew right away that something was wrong. She kept on

Sudden cardiac arrest.
Hello everyone. I am new to this but have joined after speaking to someone at headway on the helpline. 5 weeks ago, my 26 year old partner had a sudden cardiac arrest. He was out running-he is a healthy and fit man and they don't know what caused it but suspect something hereditary. Luckily, 2 other

Desperately trying not to feel sorry for myself today 🙁
I'm meant to be studying- have a week to catch up on cos it's been so busy at work. But every muscle from lower vertebrae down to my ankles is spasming and feels like it's on fire - even the oxycodone and a low dose of diazepam isn't stopping the tension today. And if I take more I won't be capable of

Help
I am going through a dark tunnel don't know which way to turn, George's agitation is getting beyond belief, feel so stressed. Last night he was trying to get out of bed, saying he was not tired, then put the sides up, what does he do, his legs were over the top of the bed, banging on the bed until 3.30

Struggling
Hi everyone. I joined about a week ago & have found it helpful. My doctor has increased my meds (fluoxetine & Lorazepam, about a week to go until we see if it helps). My health provider is currently looking for a therapist for me. Fingers crossed they have 1 soon. I also got the calm app that some said
