69Nps, there's nothing wrong with diazepam so long as it's used properly in which case it is like a magic bullet,by properly I mean for short periods of time or taking just one now and then when you feel you really need some relief. If you've been taking them for any length of time and then stopped suddenly as you appear to have done you do feel withdrawal symptoms and feel lousy. I would suggest you go see your doctor soon, ask for an emergency appointment, and explain that you ran out and are now experiencing dreadful withdrawal symptoms and could you have some more so you can gradually reduce the dosage, what they call tapering off, over a period of a month or so.
I have an appointment tomorrow morning, I'm currently on a weening program, but having been on diazepam for ten years plus, it's not easy.
