Anxiety is back
My anxiety has been quite okay recently but I’ve been more depressed than usual. Everyday i am pretty much exhausted, even if i have enough sleep. Yesterday i got some chest pains and a faster heart rate. Then throughout the night i kept waking up to a faster heart rate then it would calm down, then

Wake up to my heart racing and feeling like I haven’t been breathing
Recently almost every time I fall asleep I awake to my heart racing and feeling as if I haven’t been breathing. I’ve also been experiencing feeling like I have to make myself breathe during the day. But then I will get busy and forget to make myself and I’m breathing just fine but whenever I think about

Can you go through withdrawal with lorazepam (Adivan)?
I’ve been taking Lorazepam for the last few weeks due to my anxiety but my dr has told me to stop and try something else due to the fact it’s addictive. Will I go through a “withdrawal”?

Can a doctor force you off meds.
I have been on lorazepam and it has helped me so much and I have no side affects. But doctors seem to have a thing about this medication and I really do not want agitated depression to return. But we have a new pharmacist practitioner joined in the last week and without a review or consultation feels

I have been on 4 a day 1mg lorazepam reducing 1mg a month. I agreed with my pharmacist practitioner this as a plan. Unfortunately a new practitioner without any consultation with me just wrote out a prescription for 3 a day for a month then he proposes to drop to 2 a month and then 1 a month with no

Very frightening thoughts when trying to sleep...
I’m 63, and am currently recovering from a bout of Winter Flu virus that has now kept me off work into this third week. The physical symptoms of the flu are now, happily, receding, but I picked up an immensely worrying set of side symptoms along the way that are threatening to completely cripple me

Sleeping
I am quickly running out of patience tonight. It’s only 1:15am and I have already seen to Mum 4 times since 12:30 either to get her comfy or help her to the commode or change her pants. I’m starting to get really frustrated and and annoyed with her and I hate it as I know she too would rather be sleeping

Hashimoto's flare?
I was diagnosed with Hashi's in 2011 and as far as I was aware I'd never had a "flare". However...it's now all gone pear-shaped! My husband and I moved to Spain in December and I found the lead up VERY stressful and since we have settled here my anxiety is absolutely horrendous. Really, really bad.

Lorazepam
I was prescribed 1mg lorazepam up to twice daily I thought to help with prednisone side effects. I am 71 years old with PMR I felt pretty good yesterday and didn’t take any. By 2:00 this morning I felt really terrible and took one so I could sleep. I am awake and feeling pretty bad. I think I am unwittingly

Work, what to do?
Hi all, I know people have covered different aspects of this in various posts, but feel overwhelmed with it all! Although you all seem really knowledgable and so supportive. Suffered with pain for over 16 years, 12 years ago, I became so bad (whilst pregnant with my daughter), I was left with severe

Tapering, trying to get by.
Tuesday my rheumatologist lowered me from 7.5 to 7 mg. Can this cause me to feel really weird. I don’t know if it’s that, I wasn’t ever diabetic but maybe a low blood sugar, panic attacks or a brain tumor. The rheumatologist prescribed lorazepam and I do take that when things get bad. I don’t take more

Post Iodine treatment - anxiety and severe depression
Hi, My mum had an overactive thyroid and was treated with radioactive iodine in Oct 17. Since then she has become anxious, depressed and afraid to leave the house. She isn't eating (rapid with loss) and feels like life isn't worth living. This is heartbreaking to watch and no one seems to be taking her

Panic Attack and Anxiety! 🙈👀😓
🙌 Hi, I'm Charl! 1st post! 😊 I've been suffering with Panic Attacks and Anxiety now for around 3 years. I am now 25, it just seems to be getting worse! My doctor listens to my symptoms and just wants to give me medication but I feel this will just make me feel more on edge and more dizzy and disorientated

LORAZEPAM
After 20 years of taking 2mg. of lorazepam a day, now my doctor will not prescribe it any longer. I'm 66 years old and know what I need to keep my boat from tipping. Any advise on how to get someone to prescribe it? Thanks already.
