Anyone else dizzy on High Dose Biotin?
Anyone else dizzy on High Dose Biotin? My neurologist suggested looking into high dose biotin to reverse M.S. I've been doing great on a nutritional diet only, similar to the Whal's Protocol, avoiding processed foods, eating nearly all fruits and veggies, with sides of meat, fish, seafood. Been on

Recently diagnosed - and I have some questions...
Hi all, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last month, and have now been on 25mcg of levothyroxine for nearly five weeks. I've already found this forum hugely helpful in terms of understanding the condition and knowing what else I can do to help care for myself. But I have a few questions and would

Betrayal - Episode 1
Dr. O'Bryan begins with the death of his father. They could find no explanation for his cardiac arrest since he did not have heart blockages or blood clots. What they did explore was that he had high homocysteine levels and it turns out that this will cause spasms of the blood vessels. This is actually

Going Nuts
I tried quite a few things for my frequent migraines and cluster headaches. Recently, I ate some unsalted mixed nuts, just as an aura began which signaled the start of a migraine. To my astonishment, the migraine did not come. I thought that this was just a coincidence, but decided to test this. Strangely

Desiccated beef liver and iron and supplements
Does anyone know if desiccated beef liver can replace iron and vitamin B supplements? From what I've read, beef liver is extremely rich in vitamins and nutrients.

High AST and ALT levels
My AST and ALT levels are high, tested two months ago. AST 101 ALT 84 Bilirubin 1.7 Nothing else was high. They gave me an ultra sound and it was normal. I quit drinking for 28 days when I had a slight tradegy in the family that led me to drink kind of heavily for 2 weeks when I realized how stupid

Update on thyroid results and advice on hair loss
I really want to get a handle on this, if there is indeed a thyroid problem that is causing hair loss. Never had hair loss until after menopause. My TSH and T4 numbers from seven years ago until I started measuring the full panel in the last three years always hovered around TSH 1-2 and T4 1. Before

Yet another blood tests results
Hi guys, after my concerns with previous blood results (from endo), I went to see my new GP and asked if any of it can be addressed. Initially I found her to be more perceptive than any other doctor before. After showing her my results and describing my symptoms she ordered her own blood tests altogether

Feel like I'm going mad
Me again....! Sorry....! I feel crazy. My head is intense and spinning and I feel scared and like I'm gonna go mad. I know this sounds like intense anxiety. What I don't know is why. I've been taking vitamin b complex with added vitamin c and easy iron both by terra nova for the last three days and

GP prescribed vitamin b compound tablets for b12 deficiency
Absolutely flabbergasted! As I mentioned in my initial post my GP wanted to try and treat my b12 def by oral supplement. I managed to persuade him to instead give me loading shots. I have just been to the chemist to collect some other meds and the prescription was there that I hadn't collected. I thought

TPO - 34
I saw a doctor this morning and got the results of my Thyroid antibodies test. My TPO is 34. (Previously only other test results were T4 11.8, TSH 8.89) The doctor said TPO was within limits. And while she did mention the magic figure of 10 for TSH she was willing to start me on medication. I wanted

Supplements
I think I have missed over the years, many of the vitamins and supplements that people have taken that have more than anecdotal evidence. Some, via the internet, seems confusing to me. I have upped my exercise to include 3 days a week weightlifting and 6 days a week cardio. I want to improve muscle

Coming off T3
Hi. I was diagnosed with hashimotos 17 years ago. I did fairly well on thyroxine until I had my children 9 years ago. Two years ago, against the advice of my GP I decided to self medicate with T3 (tiromel) as I was feeling progressively worse on T4 alone. With the support of the community on here I managed
