Eggs
In my recent post on 'Meat', I included two studies by Erin Richman. Those studies also looked at eggs. A natural response to those studies might be to stop eating eggs. I think that a little perspective is called for. In the Health Professionals Follow-up Study [1]: "Men who consumed 2.5 or more

How can I avoid all these foods?
Good morning everyone, It seems like my "avoid" list is growing longer every month. Since sticking to this I have lost just over a stone (since the end of December) I am always hungry and feeling worse because of it. I had been doing really quite well healthwise until I was told (by a professional

Neuropathy info please
I'm beginning to develop neuropathy after the second dose of cisplatin (swopped to that due to carboplatin allergy). As walking and knitting are two of my main activities and part of my social life I'm worried about this. I've read that B vitamins and 'physical therapy' which is from the US forum and

Should I be taking a B Complex along with my injections?
Hi all, So I've seen a lot of conflicting information as to whether I should be taking a B Complex or just folic acid with B 12 injections. I am already taking methylfolate but am going to switch to folic acid as I don't tolerate methyfolate well! (It makes me anxious) but then I've read about how

Intrinsic Factor
I have found some vitamin B complex capsules(with metafolin) which contain Porcine Intrinsic Factor. Has anyone seen any sceintific evidence that this porcine I.F. could really help P.A. patients who have antibodies that destroy their intrinsic factor which is necessary for absorption of Vitamin B12?

Nutritional yeast
Hi all Just sharing info about this product which I've just come across as a non dairy alternative to use to flavour food - it's basically what it says on the tin, yeast flakes, and has a cheesy/nutty savoury flavour. Also high in B vitamins, which are good for your overall cardiovascular health, particularly

Lack of emotions
Ever since my first panic attack, I've realised that I no longer have any emotions, I just feel empty, I cannot laugh, smile, get angry, I look at myself in the mirror and I don't recognise myself. I look back at pictures of me when I was happy and I don't identify with that person. I can cry but I
