Alpha Gal Syndrome & Propylene glycol Allergy
I have alpha Gal Syndrome (allergic to all mammalian/animal and their byproducts) and I am allergic to propylene glycol.. the worse symptom I get is anaphylactic.. I am hoping someone can help me with finding a antihistamine that I could use in treatment.. So far I have found none other than Unison melts

Is change good?
Me = 78, Jak2 and ET + Edoxaban. I had a rare FTF meet with my Haematologist and raised the point that the side effects of Hydroxycarbamide are increasing - usual fatigue & breathlessness (this can also be attributed to my Atrial Fibrillation of course) , pruritis itch in all parts, actinic keratosis

Some Questions.
Hi Well I wrote out a ling message earlier and then my tablet crashed and I lost the will to live but I'm really interested in getting some answers please. How soon does TSH go down and the thyroid hormones go up whilst on Levo. My TSH was 6.2 in early October and my dose increased to 125mcg. Next

Carbimazole and itch
I’ve been on carbimazole 20mg for 5 weeks. I’ve been itching for the past couple of weeks but the last few days I’ve had severe itching and a nettle type rash. I’ve been taking antihistamines which help a little but I’m waking during the night scratching. I’ve looked online and this seems to be a side

Reluctantly returning to GCA
Hi all : I am 60 and two weeks ago experienced transient vision loss in my right eye. Episodes of 2-3 minutes of blindness in that eye happened 8-9 times, continued into next day and off to the hospital we went. I have a GCA history at age 55 which resulted in a nearly 2 year taper from 60/70

Antihistamines during 2WW?
Hiya, I’ve googled whether antihistamines during pregnancy are ok and it seems pretty vague. A lot of “it seems to be ok” which isn’t too reassuring 😕 I’ve emailed my clinic but in the meantime… Has anyone been given a definite yay or nay to taking allergy pills during their 2WW? Xx

Increasing lamotrigine dose
Hi I am new to posting on here , so a little background. My husband had his first seizure in August 2019, out of the blue no family history and never been ill in his life. Looking back there had been a couple of “strange” episodes over the year but nothing that would suggest epilepsy. He ended up in

Buserelin-raised red spots
Hi all, I've been injecting Buserelin for 18 days. After most of the injections I've had a bit of redness and itching but nothing major. After injecting last night, all of my puncture holes came up as raised red spots (see photo) and are still like it this evening. I went for my baseline scan today

Rheumy appointment F2F - good outcome...
Good morning, I had the appointment on Monday, to follow up and review everything: - I am taking the sub-cut Tocilizumab. The first 4 months were amazing, life back 90%. It was truly wonderful. Then I started getting a few aches and pains again with an RA feel to them and occasional days of fatigue.

Desperate mama
My almost 5 year old son started with coughing symptoms at night around the age of 2, he sleeps soundly until about 12AM-2AM and then wakes up with forceful persistent coughs, mostly when a cold is circulating in the house. He was on so much prednisone and eventually we started a preventative inhaler

Animal Allergy Medication
Have had asthma for many years and allergies to animals is a real pain, particularly long haired species of dogs. Coming into contact particularly in a closed environment makes me very ill for a period of time; sneezing, wheezing (badly) etc. Coincidentally, some of my relatives now have dogs which badly

Wellbutrin as an SSRI alternative?
Hi I'd be interested in hearing from anyone that has made a successful transition to wellbutrin from an SSRI and whether it has worked for them. My understanding is that this antidepressant does not aggravate RLS. I have tried to gradually taper off of Lexapro and was recently hit with unbearable anxiety

Itchy and Breathless
Hi Just wanted some advice, I joined this forum a few weeks ago, I was experiencing itching after a dose increase from 75 to 100mcg. My GP put me on an antihistamine and eventually sent me for a load of blood tests to rule out iron deficiency as this can cause itching. These came back OK but they also
