3rd COVID vaccine and flu jab - ✔️
Had both of these yesterday. The vaccinator explained that this is a 3rd dose and I will be offered a booster in about 8 weeks! My arm is very tender, actually both are, but the COVID arm worse by far. I’m feeling quite tired and a bit nauseous but otherwise ok. My poor body - I had my usual tocilizumab

Got a call back and an email - after a nudge…
The Rheumy dept responded to my email quickly, but I had waited a week for the nurse who promised she’s get back to me and still hadn’t. Upshot is I got an appointment with the consultant and then the nurse called me about the action to be taken in meantime…. The consultant had asked if I wanted to

Nasal sprays/antihistamines all year?
Hi all, Just a question about nasal sprays etc. I take dymista now and am wondering how other people take their nasal sprays and antihistamines. Do you take it all year round, or just pollen season? If you stop, how do you know when to stop?

Hi ladies, has anyone on this combination had very small bumps come up over their chest bone and terrible irritation like prickly heat over the arms, chest and legs. I also have the rash underarms. It’s driving me crazy. I could scratch my skin to pieces. I take antihistamine to help me sleep of a night

Developing allergic reaction to Tocilizumab…
Why does my body feel the need to be so overly defensive? It all started really well with Tocilizumab, no injection site issues just quickly effective RA control. The magic substance was found… Over the past 3 months or so - it started with a bit of redness at injection site and a tickly cough that lasted

Asthma only flares up in the UK, why?
I have over the past 4 years lived and travelled in Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand and China, and my asthma never flared up. But I have returned the UK and immediately I'm breathless and wake up during the night. I can run much shorter distances in the UK before my lungs are too exhausted and I need

Another autoimmune disorder
I stopped taking my 2 or 3 a day 4mg Piriton about two weeks ago to see if my brain fog might improve. But within a week I had a major outbreak of Psoriasis rash on some of my torso and upper thighs. I often have a small outbreak on some fingers so I'd been given Eumovate Cream for that and started using

IBS and antihistamines
Sometime back I read that antihistamines can help with the pain and sure enough during hay fever season whilst I was taking my over the counter antihistamines my IBS was better. At the end of the hay fever season I stopped taking my antihistamines and things got worse. I have now resumed taking my tablets

Flu Vaccine
OH and I both had flu jab yesterday - went in the chemist for antihistamine and came out with sore arms. I don’t know whether it is just this year’s vaccine or whether we have not been exposed to enough germs during lockdown but within a few hours I ached all over. This morning I have a flare and David

Extreme itch
Hi all, I’m new to this so please excuse any uneccesary information. I started with full body hives and extreme itch in March. Physically exhausted, not knowing each day what the ’rash’ will be like and /or which part of my face will be swollen- often look like I’ve had Botox on my lips or bashed in
