Hello All, I'm currently taking metformin as prescribed by my doctor, folic acid, zinc and bee propolis. I am just interested to know what you are all taking and if anyone has had any success from it? I have severe endometriosis and I am open to exploring anything (within reason!) that might help whilst

I haven’t posted in a while, but I have had new symptoms and issues that I am curious as to whether others have experienced. Quick background, all autoimmune tests negative, blood sugars in control, no Lyme disease or myasthenia Gravis, yet I have had nerve pain for 16 months that is unexplainable.

Risk of cardiovascular events in men treated for PCa.
New Danish study [1] & a new paper from Mark Moyad [2]. "Men who received first-line palliative treatment had {twice the risk} of {ischaemic stroke} and {heart failure}" ... "compared with PCa-free men." "Pre-diagnosis lifestyle, anthropometry or cardiovascular risk factors did not explain the risk

About the recent insulin articles
There have been various articles and media stories about whether there is a correlation about pre diabetes insulin resistance and fibromyalgia. Also, whether the use of the drug metformin can treat fibromyalgia pain and give relief. The University of Texas study can be found here: https://journals.plos.org

Hello. So our one and only frozen embryo didn’t work 😢 we found out a couple of weeks ago now but i am still really struggling. It was our only nhs funded round and I just don’t know where we go from here. I just feel like we are never going to afford to another go. We had our follow up appointment

Low cortisol levels thyroid hormone levels, especially on T3/NDT
I find this article on low cortisol, and the interaction between thyroid hormone and cortisol, very interesting, especially since it was written by a doctor able to think outside the box: http://hormonerestoration.com/Cortisol.html A few months ago, I weaned myself off Medrol (put on 4 mg daily by hormone

T2 Going From Oral Meds To Insulin Fatigue
Has anyone experienced heavy arms and fatigue that won’t go away after going from oral meds to DKA / hospital stay then put on insulin? My wife has been struggling with extreme low energy within two months of being released from the hospital and taken off of Jardiance, Metformin and Glimperide. This

High blood sugar
Well, our MO was a definite BIG NO on prescribing Metformin. Even after reviewing Kevin’s fasting glucose numbers and the pile of studies I had on Metformin. We were told to get his primary care physician to prescribe it. (Problem is he doesn’t have one). Anyway have been researching and reading here

What's happening physiologically at 8mg.
Happy Easter toute le monde! This week I have been at 8mg all week after jumping down from the last rung of the ladder. I was on 5x9 2x8 and on Sunday thought, what the heck, my 9mg days are so far apart I may as well go straight to 8 full time now. It seemed okay and still does seem okay although

HIFU and Metabolic Control
Good day fellow brothers and sufferers. This is my first post and my story. I am in the UK, so all of my treatment, whatever it entails is totally free of charge, so cost has no part to play in my treatment choice. I am 68 years old. In February 2018 I had a routine PSA – came back at 4.8ng/ml UK units
