Many questions and not many answers.
Hi I am new here I'm a 53 female. Six months ago I was diagnosed with "Specific Autoimmune Disease" and on May 19,2017 I was confirmed with "Eosinophilia syndrome/Churg Syndrome" My question: Does anyone else have a combo diagnosis? Separately they are treatable. Doctors are trying to figure out

My baby girl is probably having biliary atresia
My baby was born on time, healthy and beautiful, but very tiny about 2600. in about 2 months old we started to see she didn't have normal skin colour but my GP just ignored my concerns telling us that it's normal for newborn for sometime to have jaundice after they are born, finally I insisted on blood

Experience with Tirosint
I am on Levothyroxine 100mcg and having really bad reaction to it about 2 hours after I have taken it (breathing problems, very weak, feel like I am going to collapse, dizzy). Understand Tirosint is a form of Levo without all the additives and buffers. Has anyone had any experience with it? Wondering

Steroids help me
About four years ago I suffered what was called "an acute stress reaction". I already had Hypothyroidism and was a coeliac and had lichen planus for years, but within weeks I also lost all my hair (Alopecia areata) and developed another auto immune problem vitiligo. Thanks to this forum and Paul Robinsons

Trimeq
Hello there. I am on day six of taking my hiv medicine and it's Trimeq. First couple of days were an adjustment but my body seems to be taking it very well. I have even lowered my caffeine intake because I feel as if I wake up with the energy I lacked before. One thing I have been experiencing is testicular

Medication Eviplera
I have been on Eviplera for a year and have felt exhausted constantly. I went to my doctor and they have put me back on my first set of meds DARUNAVIR and TRUVADA. And said when I have my doctors appointment I can change. I find the information about meds impossible to choose. They show you a pill bock

Hello ladies, Just wondered if anyone knows where I could get hold of some peppermint oil/water? Seems a lot of places have aromatherapy oil, but don't think that is very drinkable!!? Got given some at the hosp which was amazing! Thanks 💕

You may have noticed a sudden personal obsession of yours to picking on your skin or, may have observed a loved one getting himself or herself wounded severely from frequent skin picking. Could that be a sign of stress and anxiety? Worse, might you or your loved one be suffering from skin picking disorder

Anti-anxiety meds instead of beta blocker for Graves
Hi all, Has anyone tried an anti-anxiety med like Xanax (generic name alprazolam in Canada) for the short-term until the Carb kicks in? I'm finding for the past two months my panic when standing in grocery lines, sitting on the subway, anywhere in public really is getting worse. My heart is not racing

Sickle Cell Thalassemia & Shingles
Has anyone had the Shingles vaccine, and if so did you experience any crisis as a result? What if at all has been any medical advice concerning having the vaccine, or advice in taking the risk to not receive the vaccine? I am very concerned about taking either route, it's lie a catch 22.

Getting help from GP? - what questions to ask?
Please can someone give me advice so I can help my mum. She is 84 years old and had her parathyroids out about 14 years ago and has really struggled with her health since. I think that my mum feels she doesn't have the knowledge or 'power' to challenge her GP's with their treatment of her condition

HI ALL. Has anyone post transplant had trouble with their teeth? Terry says he feels like his are feeling sensitive all the time. Have noticed that Calceos states that long term use can effect teeth but when I mentioned this to consultant he just shrugged it off. Maybe we should speak to dentist before

Controlling pain while exercising with endo ?
Hi Ladies, I am wondering if anyone has found a way of controlling pain whilst exercising with endo? I'm 18 months post lap, stage 3. My op scars still hurt and pull when I'm exercising, only holding them seems to help. I am thinking maybe some kind of compression garment might help. I am also 4 months
