Has anyone had the Shingles vaccine, and if so did you experience any crisis as a result? What if at all has been any medical advice concerning having the vaccine, or advice in taking the risk to not receive the vaccine? I am very concerned about taking either route, it's lie a catch 22.

I've had the Shingles vaccine. It may have made it less severe, but I still get shingles. I am on valacyclovir everyday to prevent an occurrence, which I feel the need to explain to all doctor's I see. It works, but if I miss a day or two, I feel like it triggers a minor crisis.

What is your experience with shingles?
