Frustrated!! š«
Hi I was diagnosed with FND a few years ago although until last year i was always treated as an attention seeker/time waster. My first symptoms involved paralysis from the waist down & i was given minimal input so it took a very long time to get back to walking. Since then I've had several relapses which

Sore Hips Do I Carry On?
I had tears in both hips and had surgery and
physiotherapy
to fix this. My hips continued to lock and were sore on any kind of high impact exercise. I was advised to accept my baseline and avoid anything high impact. That was 8 years ago.

The Value of a Good Compounding Pharmacist, a True Story
Although I generally write about supplements, sometimes supplements are simply not enough and prescription meds can be beneficial in different forms that doctors and patients are sometimes not aware of. To ignore that fact is folly on the patient's part in my opinion. I am writing this true story to

Progression
Completed C25k a while ago and have progressed to being able to run 5k in 46 mins. Know it is slow but I am 65 and getting back into running after trying 20 years ago. I normally run on grass as I understand it is better for knees. I avoid hills as I find it hard on my knees I am doing the recommended

Is this how it feels?
Last year I tested positive for Covid 19. This hit me with a super force, it has been a 7 month battle and the dark times were more frightening than I wish to go into. In this my doctor tested my blood and lupus came into the equation. My family and I were startled by this list of ailments and symptoms

Nursing home
Hi, my mum has PSP and has been in a nursing home since November 2020. Since she has been there her mobility has gone from walking short distances with a frame and sitting in a chair to laying in what I call a bucket chair all day. She now canāt even clean her teeth. The home donāt want her mobile because

C25K graduation post š
Hi all, I donāt know if any of you remember my previous posts. I started this back in Oct/Nov time. I was loving it but then injured my right shin on wk 4. I took 4 wks out as it was painful walking and then started the program again. I found out my daughter was also doing the program when I was on wk3

Tight Pelvic Floor Muscles leading to constant urge to urinate, unable to fully empty and spasms.
Iāve tried acupuncture, pelvic floor
physiotherapy
, deep breathing exercises, yoga and pain killers but I still suffer with what has now become chronic pain in the muscles in and around the urethra, a constant urge to pee and my mental health has suffered greatly because of this.

Help with Pudendal Nerve Neuralgia
Pudendal neuralgia. Hi, can you help or share? It seems that I have problems with my pudendal nerve and this roaming, changing pain is not good as some will know. I have a good physio and will investigate but I wonder what others have done with this. Physio thinks PD is most likely and it fits with

Spring deterioration?
Hello! It's so nice to see the new leaves, flowers etc. The joys of spring. But does spring have a negative effect on PMR? I first got it 3 years ago in March and I've noticed that around March/April in 2019, 2020 and now again, I have to increase the dose of Pred to deal with a relapse. Anybody else
