Hello , I have severe Ankylosing spondylitis for which I am on Adalimumab. I saw my Consultant two weeks ago we agree that I would stay on the Adalimumab and he would do a new prescription that day and send it to Healthcare at home. I only had one injection left which I took that day the 26th. As I

Setraline and epilepsy
My doctor has prescribed me sertraline as I suffer with severe health anxiety/OCD. I also take Lamotrigine for epilepsy (although mild and controlled). Does anyone else take both meds? There can be an interaction and my neurologist was far more for the CBT route initially but he doesn’t realise how bad

Anxiety about wisdom teeth removal
Hi everyone I’m getting my wisdom teeth out (all 4) in just over a week. I’m a little nervous because I haven’t had anything done like this before. I’m not really worried about the procedure itself, mostly about the recovery process. If you’ve had your wisdom teeth out and remember what your recovery

Blood draw should I take meds before it?
Good morning and happy Easter 🐣 I wondered if anyone knows the answer to this? I’ve managed under much persuasion to get a T3T4 blood test as my under active thyroid symptoms are just at an all time maximum 100 Levothyroxine taken each day, however should I take my meds before the blood draw? Dr says

Doing blood test at 8.10am, when do I take NDT (ERFA) to get best result?
I am currently on a NDT (ERFA) trial with a Private Endo and need to do a Medichecks Advanced Thyroid test to see how the trial is going. I am currently taking 1 grain 7.30am and a half grain at 12.00 midday. I have read on here that it is important to adjust timing of meds sometimes to get the best

This helped me
Hello family. I hope everyone is dealing with issues the best way you can. For the last month I've been dealing with horrible intrusive thoughts that kept my anxiety on 100 and it got to a point to where I thought I was going to act out whatever came to mind in the middle of the night. This book was

Fear of anxiety
I had a really bad panic attack last night and it had to do with remembering my brother’s horrible panic attack about a year ago that traumatized my mother and me. Then today I didn’t go to school because I was scared I’d get anxiety there. How do I get rid of this fear of anxiety that I have?

Surrendering
I feel like I’m at the end of my rope and I’m flailing around for something to grab onto. Never done something like this before, but desperation has a way of humbling us all and everntually we must surrender. That is my condition. I’m defeated. I’m there. My depression and anxiety have consumed me and

THE USE OF DAPSONE FOR SUBCUTANEOUS ISSUES
Has anyone else been prescribed the Medication DAPSONE? I initially was prescribed the usual suspect (meds)when I was first diagnosed with Panniculitus in 2018. All of them made me deathly ill. I ran across articles for the drug Dapsone and asked my Rumy if I could take it. She prescribed it for me

Cannot enjoy good things in life
I can’t figure it out. I want to be happy, enjoy life. But I lay here, depressed, weepy, and finding fault with what good things are happening in my life. It’s like I have had life long training that I deserve only sad bad things in my life. My Doc upped my Zoloft to 150 mg but it did not make any

How does everybody feel about their anxiety and controlling it?
How does everybody feel about their anxiety and controlling it? I’m finding my anxiety is getting really bad in the afternoon. Literally I feel like I’m sundowning. I’m having to use Ativan. Which I don’t want to have to use anything but anxiety is pretty brutal. I’m glad I found this website. Thanks

Medication question
Hey all. It's been almost a year since I've been on here. I come back from time to time just to see what's going on. Unfortunately I haven't gotten any better. I still suffer like I have been for the past 5 years. Like always some days are better than others. Other days not so great. I've been doing

Recurrent Miscarriage: Does anyone have any experience with APTT (Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time)?
The more I try to search for answers, the more confused I get! I recently had a load of bloodwork done (as my 3 embryo transfers to date have resulted in 3 early miscarriages). The tests were for the following: Full Blood Count, INR, APTT, Factor V Leiden, Factor II Gene, MTHFR Gene, Fibrinogen, Act

Difference between thought and action
I have long struggled between the thought of the task I need to do and actually doing it. As if there is some mental disconnect. Like no matter how much I think about a task, plan it out in my head, visualize myself doing it, or set alarms to then go do it, something goes off track to actually then
