Anxiety up the roof

My gi dr send me to a lab test to get a fit stool test and I’m so nervous and scared .. I have Been crying these pass days because of my symptoms and I’m so scared it’ll be something so scary .. I’m hoping everything comes out okay ... but my health anxiety is only getting worse ..

Hi - I know things like these are scary but it’s always better to know. If you’ve been recommended the test and you didn’t do it you would always be thinking what if and that panic will never leave you. At least if you do it you’ll know. If it’s normal then great and if it’s not you speak to your doctor about the next steps. I would definitely recommend you do the test, especially if you’re in so much pain, you might finally get the answers/treatment you need.
