Hello , I have severe Ankylosing spondylitis for which I am on Adalimumab. I saw my Consultant two weeks ago we agree that I would stay on the Adalimumab and he would do a new prescription that day and send it to Healthcare at home. I only had one injection left which I took that day the 26th. As I hadn't heard anything I rang the Rheumatology helpline yesterday to be told someone would ring me today. Just spoken to Consultants secretary who said prescription hadn't been done however it would be signed today and sent off. She said she didn't know how long it would take to get supplies to me. I am now worried about a flare of pain etc. It's so frustrating and not even an apology.

I am so sorry to hear this Stephanie and hope that you get your prescription soon. It can be hard at the best of times when communication is not good, but this pandemic has in some cases thrown things all over the place. I don't have any experience of these injections so hope someone will be able to give you some information or reassurance, but I can send you some warm wishes in the meantime, Take care x
😥 hopefully it is with you soon
