Premature Speedaculation!
Her pep talk worked as I mused about how far I could have run this time last year.....er.....the answer was about 10 feet!!!
As I lay in my jacuzzi, the jets massaging my joints, I had a look at my Endomondo app and went "What the ****??!"
My first blog as a graduate :-)
The inner pep talk worked and I completed 30 mins and continued for another 3!!!!
Will try to make 33 mins my goal for the next few runs now.
Doing a 5k Race for life on Sunday . Hope to run it all, (well most of it, not sure about the massive hill at the beginning).

Has Seriously Lost My MoJo
God, he does a damn good pep talk! So despite feeling so disappointed, I can see now that my body was not quite over the shock of running again on Monday and I did what I could. I TRIED. My Mum too had some lovely words of comfort and now I must focus on my next run on Friday.

But after a few pep talks from my boyfriend & Mum, I put my PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) hat on & told myself "yes you can do it - just try". The next run was on Thurs 23rd May and after a bit of hard work, I finally managed a 30 min run again - PHEW!!!

Hello. I have just completed w4r2. I never thought I would be able to get past w1 but I keep plodding on! I am using the RunDouble app on my phone as I wasn't able to download the podcasts. I feel like I am missing out on some inspirational messages from 'Laura'. Can anyone give me a few pointers ie

W9R2 - Park Run!
Shortly before 9am we were called together for the pep-talk, announcements, legal notices etc etc and then a short walk up to the start and 3 - 2 - 1 - off!
The first loop of the course was easy - all on the one level on a gravel path around the lawn.
SAD!! no more walking with laura
Im just hopping that in weeks 7 8 and 9 she keeps up her pep talks so i keep going ! and now I need to start thinking about the big one run 3 25 mins arrr off to worry myself silly and have my breakfast happy running x x
W5 R3 - I did it!
I've been trying to pep talk myself all day and remember all the encouragement and advice on here.
I decided to only switch my RunKeeper app on once I started running as I wanted to see how far I could go without including the warm up.
