TRAMADOL
My GP stopped my Tramadol after being on it for years, something to do with its being bad with my other medication. Being a type2 diabetic there are fewer medications that I can take. I was referred to the pain clinic but all the consultant told me was that there was nothing else that could be prescribed

Shingles vaccination with Hashimoto's
Does anyone know if this is contraindicated? I can't find anything definitive on-line.

My Cefaly 2 exerience so far...
Before I tell you about my experience with the Cefaly 2, I want to give you some background. I'm 62 years old and have been a migraine sufferer for decades (diagnosed in 2000 after being told since I was a teenager that I had sinus headaches - and even had deviated septum surgery at age 16 to correct

Pain relief products that I've found helpful
Since I've yet to experience any relief from my RA, I must rely on pain meds and pain relief devices to get me through the day. While no drug, device, or product has helped much with my pain, I wanted to share with folks some of the things that at least offer some relief, even if subtle. If you'd like

Hello everyone, My re referral has not happened
So today I went to my old hospital to see the Nurse pain specialist. I decided not to tell her about the re-referral as I didn't want to end up with seeing no one. I am disappointed with the re referral being dismissed by the new hospital. I am now paranoid they thought I was a patient who would come

Can anyone relate?
Hi everyone, I thought I'd post to see if what I'm experiencing is similar to those of you already diagnosed. I'm waiting on a referral to a rheumatologist for diagnosis. Around a year ago I started having extra worsening fatigue, muscle weakness mainly in my arms which seemed to be getting worse-around

Brilliant children's neurologist or epileptologist?
We are stuck! We have an 8 year old daughter with epilepsy (absence seizures). She has hundreds in a day and it really affects her concentration, mood, relationships with others, behaviour etc etc. The list is endless. After years of drugs which made no difference to the epilepsy and appeared to increase

Cold numb feet, trouble walking, leg pain.
I'm still having a hard time dealing with these supposed somatic symptoms. Brain and cervical MRI came out clear except for a few bulging discs. Trembling, vision problems muscle spasms, frequent urinations.Unfortunately I believe I've been misdiagnosed with anxiety and depression . All my symptoms

NDT's being done away with?
Anyone else, other than those in the USA, having trouble getting Natural Desiccated Thyroid medicine [NDT's]? I have no clue about how it is in UK.... but in USA, Pharmacists, Docs, and drug companies have been trying to coerce people change to taking synthetic T4 only [like Synthroid], for well over

Cannabis can work for RLS
I've suffered with RLS on and off for some 40+ years. I have dealt with it quite successfully using a home made TENS unit, the link to the building of which I has posted on here, before. Recently, I was able to get into the medical cannabis program in my state for my spine issues. Was never a user

Daughters Health a worry
Hello to everyone. I signed up to try to understand my daughters recent diagnosis. It took forever for her to see the right consultant and get a proper diagnosis. When she was little she initially could not walk properly or for long periods, so I believe she may have been suffering with this then but
