Nerve block procedure.
Hi, just over a week ago I was given a nerve block injection into my shoulder. This involved the doctor putting a probe into my shoulder to find the nerve and then injecting a steroid and anesthetic into it. I was told to rest up for at least two days after it which I did. However, here I am ten days

Are you still looking for help?
If you are wondering why you still can't get a diagnosis this may help you. Toxic Mold and Lyme Disease often go hand in hand and cause symptoms in all sorts of ways including those associated with thyroid problems. This may give you a few clues: https://toxicmoldproject.com/?idev_id=22&idev_username

Anyone with symptoms like mine?
It started with high fever, a recurring headache and red welts across my chest. I hate being ill - and hospitals - so begrudgingly went to the local hospital with my wife only to be told I had shingles and should be put in a ward immediately. However, that hospital did not a full-time skin doctor

Coming out of Denial!
Hi All Apologies for the long post! After reading a zillion posts on migraine sites I thought I would give my two pence worth! For the past two years I have suffered nearly everyday with a migraine. Its always behind my eyes, (eyeballs feel like they have weights on them) and the left side of my neck

Shingles vaccine
My GP is recommending I get the shingles vaccine. I thought I had read that PMR (which I have) can be a side effect of the vaccine. I am asking what you think.

Four years on and no better off ! Painful sex had a lap out of options ?
Ok so I had a lap done by an endometriosis specialist they found two very small pieces of endometriosis no more than a cm or two across , removed them and gave me some kind of nerve block whilst they did this . So the pain was somewhat better but within a few months I went back to see my consultant and

Has anyone used a product called Quell?
I was wondering if any of you wonderful people have heard of or used Quell? It is a tens type unit that seems simple, no outlying electrodes, just goes around your calf. You adjust the relief. It is supposed to release naturally occurring opioids from your brain, providing all over pain relief. It is

Going round in circles
I have another appointment at my GP today (having seen them at least once a week for the past 2 months) to try and sort my pain levels out. I suffer with chronic back, hip and joint pain - no official diagnosis as of yet but GP is worried about the instability of my hip joint. It clunks out of place

What can I do??
I don’t know if anyone has been following my problem regarding my Hand/Arm. After 2yrs from the start of the problem with my arm and to see the anaesthetist (which I was prepared for), but they decided to put me in the bracket of a High Risk patient, she told me that she had received a report (this was

Hi everyone. I have been a long time sufferer of depression and anxiety (both diagnosed, and treated with meds and psychotherapy).
