Bilateral Ilioinguinal Nerve Block?
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I've had Chronic Pelvic Pain for the past 6 years now. No diagnosis currently. I'm having a Bilateral Ilioinguinal Nerve block in a couple of days. Has anyone had this before? Was it effective at all? Any advice/experiences would be welcomed. Thank you! K xx

Unbearable pain
Hi guys, I had a lap to diagnose and ablate endo in August, got my follow up in a couple of weeks where I am going to insist I get referred to a specialist endo centre for excision, as I've had barely any relief from surgery. The last few days my pain is getting to an unbearable level. I've considered

Trigger point Injections/nerve block
I had trigger point injections and a pedundal nerve block 2 days ago. My pain has been gradually getting worse since. Is it normal to flare really bad? I have alot of pain and like this pressure feeling. I hope I didnt worsen anything. :(

Levator Ani Syndrome or PNE?
After 5 years of chronic pelvic pain, rectal pain, pain while sitting, lower back pain, and sexual dysfunction, I have spent many of these past few years in and out of doctors offices ruling out things like prostatitis, back problems, having normal MRI scans, Xrays, etc. My pain doctor suspected that

Remission should be the holy grail
My wife is 13q mutated and started Ibrutinib as a first line treatment in January at 48 years old after 5 years of W&W This choice was made over chemo because she’s a high risk of other cancers The side effects were very painful and after a month, her hematologist decreased her dose to 2 pills a Day

Shingles and watch and wait
I am 7 years into watch and wait- no symptoms other than steadily increasing wbc(. 200now) . Last week diagnosed with shingles and got antiviral medication , which is hopefully clearing it up. My question is , does getting shingles signal the need to start treatment? Should I let my consultant know,

CBD Capsules? Do they help?
Has anyone found benefits from taking CBD capsules daily (H&B)? GP cant advise. So far managing pain in left knee down leg not good. Taking Amitraptiline, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, TENS machine, Tramadol - latter really helps, but taking latter sparingly. In system. Expect some surgical repair intervention

Will this end
I have been dealing with hell the past few months. At this point just not sure if it will end. I worry every day all day and can’t sleep when I do wake up it’s all over again. I had been having awful headaches which lead to treacherous body aches after so many Er visits all test were negative. I started

I’m new here. Pain relief tips for severe endo & chocolate cyst please?
Hi all I’m new here & really sad & frustrated to read how so many women are suffering unnecessarily with misdiagnosis & long waits for treatments. The pain I have experienced is just horrendous & I feel for everyone who suffers such chronic pain I’ll try & summarise my story. I’m 47 , have 2 children

The beginning of the end of anxiety?
You feel bewildered and confused. Some awful malaise has descended on you and you don't know why. What is happening to you is perfectly normal. It is the normal reaction of your nervous system to a long period of worry, overwork, stress, disappointment, grief without closure, money worries and/or trauma
