Do I cancel my pip now or wait a while
Hi everyone Im in a dilemma again, I have had 8 nerve block injections in my back and it has given me a new lease of life, I can now move and breath and cope with what pain I am left with, although when it becomes unbearable I hit the pain meds again, but all in all feel fantastic. I know that I should

One reason to donate to Malecare-We're the VERY first nonprofit to provide gay men with prostate cancer support groups, starting in 1998.
Our community is great. Many from our Prostate Cancer community are creating action, hope and gratitude by responding to Malecare's call for support. Our Advanced Prostate Cancer community has been astoundingly responsive. There's still time to donate at https://malecare.org/donate There are lots of

People keep calling me an inspiration and strong but Im really really struggling. A little bit of background - over the past 2 years I spent 18 months on morphine, had an excision surgery and ended up having to have a TLHBSO and excision 12 months later in an attempt to help my pain. My pain for last

Hi Everyone, After a few visits with the Neurologists nurse practitioner my PCP decided he was not happy with this neurologists office. He is not convinced I do not have MS and the neurologist office has not explained some of the findings such as my elevated spinal fluid protein, ataxia and spasticity

Advised head GP re weight loss and Diabetes
Hi, all. Our local head GP was the speaker at a meeting I attended today. I told him about this site (I hope you read this Dr David!). He had not heard of Dr David Unwin (the UK GP who saves the NHS tens of thousands of pounds a year on diabetes drugs through Low carb). I feel that my body-fat percentage

Pain relief
Hi guys! Im after some advise and guidance on pain relief, I have extreme pains including severe sciatica with my endometriosis. Got Circumcised Today
Wow! I’m circumcised now! Appt was this morning at the office of Dr. David Cornell - The Circumcision Center in Atlanta, GA. Aside from the generous consultation time he gave me the total procedure time took about 1hr 15min and included the prepping, figuring out exact inner and outer incision points

Another step towards a universal flu vaccine. Building a better flu shot.
Each year millions of Americans become sick with the flu, hundreds of thousands are hospitalized and tens of thousands die. Getting the flu shot can reduce the chances of infection. But, at best, the vaccine is only effective 40% to 60% of the time, according to the CDC. Now Michigan State University

TENS machine for pain relief
Hi All! I have tried using a TENS machine as I have been told they are good for relieving pain. When I used it it didn't feel right! Even on a low setting I was getting popping feelings in my pelvis and felt like my organs were moving! Is this normal? Thanks in advance!

New Pain after a Nerve Block Injection
I have had severe back and leg pain plus numb feet for nearly three years, which stops me walking. Four weeks ago I had a Root Block Injection which has enabled me to get back to walking again with no pain down my right leg. BUT – since the injection I now have a very severe painful ache from my shoulder

How we humans came into being?
Complex disease transmission patterns could explain why it took tens of thousands of years after first contact for our ancestors to replace Neanderthals throughout Europe and Asia. https://news.stanford.edu/press/view/31036

Time to think outside the box.
Countless thousands have felt exactly as you do. Countless thousands have recovered their quiet mind. And so will you. Your nervous system is responding perfectly normally to what you are subjecting it to. Anxiety overload. It has put up with so much for so long and now it's complaining. Fear of fear

Pain gone pen
Has anyone tried the pain gone TENS pen? I’ve seen them advertised with great reviews and I wonder how much is advertising and how much is genuine.

Pudendal nerve block - any successes?
Pudendal nerve block - has anyone had one that has had a long-lasting effect that has not caused more pain? There seem to be only negative reports here. Thank you for any hope!
