COPD and painkillers
My consultant has always advised that i should only take
paracetamol
as ibuprofen(NSAID) and opioid painkillers are not great for my condition Has anyone had any experience with what sort of painkillers work best. Thanks

Third shot side-effects.
I don't suffer from chills or sweats, I only sweat at night if I take
paracetamol
. The fact that I'm still suffering this fever and nothing else it's very concerning and at this point I don't know what to do. I basically just feel hotter than normal but nothing else. Has anyone been there before?

Huge reaction to 4th jab!
As I had felt grim after my third jab, but the grimness had only lasted an afternoon, I took 1000 mg of
Paracetamol
, turned on the TV and went to bed. This time it lasted 16 hours - I woke up every half hour to pee.

Flare up?
I have to take
paracetamol
to sleep just a few hours. I asked the Dr for a blood test but he said it would be raised anyway if I had a sinus problem and didn't want to overmedicate me .

Dealing with a flare
It does respond to
paracetamol
. Should I cut to 5mg now and continue to use
paracetamol
occasionally for the mild back ache or stick with 10mg for as long as it takes to be totally pain free? Many thanks as always.

Nerve pain after years of nothing
I try to avoid painkillers as they tend to make me feel sick, even
paracetamol
. Anyone got a bright idea about what I should do?

Tips for lung pain.
I take
paracetamol
, wear scarves, cover my mouth, drink warm drinks, use a warm pillow and try not to talk for very long, or to go out if it’s cold. But nothing is helping. I’m a bright, positive person, and we would appreciate any upbeat answers. Thanks.

Can paracetamol help when pred doesn't?
My questions are a) Does pred always reduce inflammation if the dose is high enough; and b) If the pred isn't helping is it worth trying something like
paracetamol
; and c) I suppose it is possible that the neck ache and raised CRP are purely coincidental, and the raised CRP might be caused by something

Pain relief
The nerve blockers will help but side effects and gradually increasing dosage can turn you into a bit of a zombie, morphine and derivatives will eventually do more harm than good eventually damaging your own pain receptors🥺 Nothing will stop the pain but plain ol

Pred sick day rules.
I'm only using
Paracetamol
for the cold so far and don't seem to have a chest infection. I also wonder if I should omit taking the Tocilizumab this week. Any guidance please.

Totally off topic but worried and need to vent
I asked him did you take more meds and he said no just
paracetamol
and I left it at that . He went upstairs to sleep again and I started to worry and checked on him every 30mins. At 5pm he got up Wednesday still and he was all over the place.

3.6cm thyroid nodule, fight to get it removed...
So I'm getting all the crappy symptoms like fatigue, achey limbs, night sweats, anxiety etc etc I'm also having swallowing issues, I feel like food gets stuck for a few hours after I eat, taking
paracetamol
isn't great either, they feel like they get stuck on the way down.

What if it’s not Endo?!
Paracetamol
and ibuprofen didn’t help at all. I was referred to a gynae over 2 years ago, but I never felt listened to.

Pain control using codine & paracetamol
Has anyone else used a mix of codine and
paracetamol
as I’m currently doing and I’m hoping will be endorsed.
