Are my eyes yellow?

I have anxiety and i am freaking out feeling i have damaged my liver. My mum told me my cousin's husband who is in his 60s his liver cirrhosis and i feel i am the same even though im 34. I drink occasionally but i have had epilepsy for a long time and was until recently on sodium valproate which can damage your liver. I used to take paracetamol until recently if i had a hangover which i stopped doing but now i keep thinking the whites of my eyes are yellow. I was told 3yrs ago that i had slight fatty liver and i mean i was 1 over the limit for my liver. The GP was not worried and just said to cut out the fatty food. I am healthier now but im freaking out that i keep seeing some yellow in my eyes. Can you see it?

It's actually against forum rules to put photos up for comment as none of us are qualifed to say yes or no, however, just to be clear, if eyes are genuinely jaundiced they are YELLOW and you don't need to go lifting up eyelids to see it. Your sclera is totally normal, the white of the eye whilst creamy coloured isn't yellow.

Yellowing of the eyes in relation to liver illness is caused due to bilirubin build up and this is a simple blood test your doctor can arrange if you have liver concerns.

I was taught on this forum that if you have to ask if your jaundice then your not. You would like a Simpson character. You are ok stop worrying, like Katie said maybe ask the gp for some liver blood tests.
