Headaches every day for 6 months but unsure if Migraine or not....
I’m hoping someone can relate or recognize! Everyday for the past 6 months I either wake up with a headache behind my right eye/right temple or it comes on during the day. It’s like a pulsating pain where I can still go on with my day most of the time but it’s really hampering my quality of life. I don

Confused......
Good morning I'm very confused about what is happening and would appreciate any advice. I've just had to change GP practice and my new GP is absolutely adamant that I don't have PMR and his reason is because I have always been able to lift my arms above my head. He wants me off prednisolone asap. He

Q’s after AVR through OHS 6 days ago
Ok so second day home after AVR via OHS on Monday. I have a couple of questions. I’m still pretty knackered all the time and keep falling asleep but guess that is just the body’s way of telling you to take it easy. I feel like I have stitch a lot of the time. Worse when sitting down. Has anyone

Can hypothyroidism cause bladder irritation, smelly urine?
So sensitive subject... I had a water infection or so I thought(again!) and went to the doctors leukocytes were detected and it was sent off to the labs. Pressure in my bladder persisted but according to the receptionist the following week when I rang as I suffered in silence my notes were messaged

I am also on 500 mg naproxen 2xday paracetamol 4xday and 75mg Venlofaxine once a day. The last 4 days I have slept almost constantly only waking up to eat or use the bathroom. So....now an infection.
Had blood test tue, phone call from surgeon wed-go back for investigations as ALT elevated on blood results. He mentioned stents, liver rejection and told me not to worry. Pain is still absolutely hellish. So of course couldn’t sleep for worrying, even told my husband I need to go home to Scotland urgently

Covid, pacemaker and prosthetic mitral valve
I hope this will help to reassure many. I have a pacemaker with av node ablation, prosthetic mitral valve and continuing, although not felt, af. Medication is warfarin alone. Christmas has been spent in South Africa with my family, on Boxing Day, 5 of us, including myself tested positive for Covid

When would you contact GP?
Hello fellow endo warriors! My flare up started last Friday, Saturday felt a bit better but I haven't been able to walk or stand properly since Sunday. I'm on morphine, paracetamol and codiene but the pain is still there. Struggling to move around the house without getting out of breath. I slept until

Hospital Trip
So 4 wks after transplant, 2nd trip to clinic. Bit disappointing. I am in pain, constipated on and off & am pretty sure I’ve got a UTI as I’m going to toilet every 20/30 mins and passing little. Nurses were fantastic. Doctor looked at wound, happy with it. Asked me how I was told him codeine was making

I have had Polycythemia Vera for 11 years controlled with Hydrea 2xdaily, only my leucocyte count keeps going up and Monocytes are off the scale, just up and up this year, no-one can tell me why. I have also developed IBS. Seems probable I have developed mastocytosis ie mast cell proliferation from basophils

Additives in paracetamol
I am asthmatic and take paracetamol for arthritis. I’ve just realised that supermarket own brands have sulphites in and Panadol has benzoates, neither of which are good for asthmatics. Does anyone know if paracetamol is sold anywhere without additives? Thanks.

Bowel endometriosis? In need of help, advice and your stories...
Hi all, I am wondering what symptoms of bowel endometriosis look like in other people? I find some websites really generic and wondered if symptoms can differ. I highly suspect I may have bowel endometriosis. I had my period at the age of 9 (I'm 25) and since then I have been suffering from intense
