Pain threshold?
Am I being a wimp & just need to man up? I really don’t know how I’m meant to feel or if the level of aches & pain I’m experiencing is ‘normal’ or as expected - can anyone tell me how they feel and deal with this ? I’m struggling in the mornings with stiff legs, lower back pain getting out of bed. Then

Temperature is 38.6....yet I have been very cold for days
Hi all i have been unwell for days with a sore throat, cough and cold. Be taking usual remedies, antiseptic throat spray and the occasional paracetamol. Along with symptoms mentioned above I have been very, very cold with rosy cheeks which I do not normally have. Assumed I was cold due to hypothyroidism

Final Update on Kidney Infection

Anti-inflammatories
Hi, I have been suffering over the past 6 weeks with Epididytisis and have had a course of antibiotics as well as an ultrasound (that was clear). When I spoke to a GP he was going to prescribe some anti inflammatory medication but soon realised he couldn’t as I’m taking Apixaban. I’m also taking Sotalol

Almost 4 months since GCA diagnosis and can't get my shoes on for swollen ankles.
Hello again folks. Just a bit concerned over the holiday period, as my ankles and blood pressure (156/88 this morning) have gradually got worse and I'm worried about kidney disease. Can't get my shoes on any more. Especially the right one! I've been on insulin for 40years, so was put on Lisinopril

Pred and Thrombosis
Hi, Still relatively new here. Was diagnosed with PMR in August and put on 20mg Pred/day. It was like someone had waved a magic wand – the pain vanished overnight. Have now been tapered down to 10Mg/day and can feel the pain occasionally in my arm muscle – the one that was most affected. But this is

Pain post transplant
So, 2 wks down the kind and pain round my middle is bad as in relentless. All I’ve been sent home with is paracetamol which isn’t touching it at all. Doesn’t help that I’ve developed an addiction to the toilet whatever I eat, it’s going straight thru. Magnesium is low so on supplements any suggestions

Doctors given up. Not sure what is wrong :(
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone else has felt this way too. I had a lap on 21st sept for suspected endo and none was found. Before my lap, a lot of my pain had subsided, I was able to go toilet every morning which really helped with my symptoms throughout the day and my pain levels. However, since

Severe abdominal pain

Hello folks, I will try to keep this as short as I can. I have been unwell since beginning November with a slight cough, had covid test 15th Nov - negative. Spoke to GP over phone 16th Nov diagnosed sinusitis and gave 5 days penicilan? I felt worse by 18th Nov with most covid symptoms and saw the GP

So confused.
My 2nd IVF cycle sadly failed, I had a heavy bleed with clots for a few days. I did my pregnancy test as instructed on Wednesday past and it was negative as expected. Thursday I developed left ovary pain which I had to take paracetamol and it went after a while and then yesterday all day I had right

Santa Dash Sunday Forecast: Unlikely
Yesterday, I stood up in an awkward way and my back went into spasm. Was more or less out of nowhere (I didn't have a heavy day lifting or anything like that) and without a word of exaggeration, I had to have my daughter help me me get dressed and I couldn't bend. I have been piggy backing paracetamol

PMR and IBS any connection?
I’m typing this flat on my back in bed with severe stomach cramps and inflammation. It started 4 days ago when I vomited up the previous evenings meal and my whole torso went into spasm. I have seen the doctor and am taking buscopan and paracetamol neither of which are helping much. I have just been
