Vaginal prolapse women aged 51

Vaginal prolapse I have been diagnosed with, I have been waiting fir a hysterectomy for 2 years. I now have a large egg hanging out of me and I am in quite a lot of discomfort. Having seen and had lots of treatment from physio, rings etc I am on the waiting list. I called my GP and said I was in a lot of discomfort with it and was told to take paracetamol and keep pushing it back in. Any advice on pain and discomfort please, I would be so grateful.

I got the same problem to but have 2 prolapse if I go out have wear a pad it’s a nightmare I love to run but have had to cut this down it just feels like I got something hanging there doctor referred me to a gynaecologist but good noses how long that going to take doctor ring to talk to me on 11 jan about mri scan results

I don’t know if cbd products are available where you live but I have two friends that use this oil for inflammation orally and I used this with a broken nose to relieve the pain and inflammation. I wish you both well.

That's messed up..I would go to another doctor or er. I feel that can't be healthy, seems it would pull on other body parts, tissues etc. I didn't have to wait that long. Push hard for help! Really bug them alot, you'll most likely get help sooner I hope.

Hello Jhaynes. It sounds like you’re having a miserable time at the moment. Are you able to sit comfortably? My mum had an operation for prolapse and afterwards had to sit on an inflated ring.

My only other thought is to search online for some exercises that might help - being careful of course that it’s a reliable website. But then you’ve been having physio so maybe you already have exercises.

I’m so sorry you have to wait for your operation. I hope it comes round soon.
