Sorry if this is a bit TMI . A few days ago I had sex and bled afterwards which has never happened before . Since then I have had really
Sharp lower abdominal pain and awful nausea . I was just wondering if this has happened to you or any remedies to help. I’ve had ibuprofen , paracetamol and applied my heat pad as usual.
Thankyou,

Hi Lucy, sorry to hear that you're in pain, hopefully it'll subside soon. I've never had this specifically but have often had bad nausea due to periods and found that seasickness tablets helped after a doctor recommended. It might not work for everyone but I know how awful it can be to feel sick so maybe give this a try?! Hope you feel better soon xx
I also suffer with abdominal pain after sex and unfortunately happens frequently. For me I try to relax, occasionally get a hot water bottle and take codeine, my pain goes through the night but the codeine usually helps me to sleep. If you’re pain continues and goes on through the day as well it may be worth talking to the doctor about stronger medication.
Hi, there. I’ve been having trouble with pain during and after intercourse for many years (I’m 45 now) Over the last year I was referred to a pelvic physio and they believe my pain is triggered by a tight pelvic floor muscle. They say over the years the pelvic floor has tightened as a response to pain caused by my endometriosis so during intercourse or sometimes using a tampon it triggers the pain response. To help they advised using a dialator (basically a plastic sized tampon) to stretch the muscle and help to try and desensitise and switch off the pain response. Along side this I had some pelvic and leg muscle stretching exercises. Although I was completely onboard with it all, I found it didn’t help and even after trying for several months found that it was just constantly triggering the pain and didn’t get better. When I went back they could see I was skeptical about the method but insisted it would work. I’ve yet to try again, and In the meantime my endo has really flared up and I’m in the process of trying other hormones to try and help. So sorry to hear you have bleeding, I never experienced this, my pain would last for a few days and would feel like everything inside had swollen and was really low, uncomfortable to sit. I hope my experience may help in some way and hope you have find something that will help you xx
