I’ll never understand this illness
Just over three weeks ago, my rheumatologist suggested that, because I was struggling on 4.5mg Pred, I should increase to 7mg for three months, then check with him again. For the first three weeks, my symptoms really improved, although I still felt tired with some pain. However, several days ago, I

Endometriosis chronical pain
Hi guys I moved to UK recently Im 32 years old and I have diagnosed endometriosis 8 years ago. I had laparoscopy 2 years ago but my pain still continue to be incredibly strong through ovulation and period time. Its interesting for me that I have bigger pain through ovulation past months than period.

Laparoscopy Update
Well it's been almost 3 weeks now since my laparoscopy and cystoscopy. I thought I'd wait a bit so I could give more information on my recovery in case it helps others who may be having the procedures. Apologies for the essay! Just for back ground, I had been suffering with more constipation than

Venclexta interacts with many meds, including OTC ones and those for AIHA
I am doing some research on medication interactions with Venclexta, and I noticed that it seems to interact with a lot of common medications, including acetaminophen, ibuprofen, common stomach upset medications like the proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole), steroids commonly used for AIHA (prednisone)

Withdrawal
How long does this withdrawal from mirapexin last. It's almost 2 weeks and I'm on 300mg and then 600mg gabapentin. I still have to take tramadol and Kratom to sleep. Should I increase the gabapentin to 600 and 600. I just hope gabapentin will work for me. The doctor won't prescribe more tramadol and

Severe head pain - feels like its my whole head! RA?
It has now happened on 3 occasions. It is at its worse at night. I am a migraine sufferer and I take Sumatriptan for them. I am also still taking Tocilizumab (for now) but have an allergic reaction to it, so take an antihistamine to counter the reaction. I see the Rheumy on the 8th Nov. The pain builds

Lower right sided pain, ovaries maybe
I’m currently really suffering with quite severe pain around the area of my right ovary, it’s constant pain which gets sharper at times, my GP has referred me for a scan but I was wondering what I could do to help ease the pain in the meantime, I have to press on the area sometimes to help ease some

Hand and feet pain - PMR or something else?
Hello all - I’ve had PMR for 3 years, down to 1mg from 15mg after a bumpy ride. Had low level hand and foot pain for over a year but just recently it has become really painful with foot pain radiating into my lower legs (calf throbbing pain and shin splint pain). GP ran bloods, said it’s not PMR as CRP

Post laproscopy - pain and confusion about what next…
Hi everyone, I had my lap a week ago now and they found and removed endometriosis from my pelvis, particularly on the left side and fitted a Mirena coil. When I came round from surgery I was told I wouldn’t be having a follow up appointment as the surgeon had got it all with the laser and that combined
