Back pain

Hi all having trouble with back pain left side just below waist seem to get this quite often can't remember doing anything but very painful. On 6mg of pred at moment but getting a bit of shoulder pain not all the time but at some part of the day. I'm 21/2years in my pmr journey. Just taking paracetamol for pain and voltarol to rub in. Is this a side affect of pmr. Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it about where the baby's dimple is? If so it could be sacroiliac pain. I get it a lot, usually because of tight/spasmed back muscles.

PMR pro said what I was thinking.its common with PMR, sometimes you feel it in the groin. Mine eventually got so bad I had treatment at the pain clinic but there are some good exercises on the web to help with SI joint and sacroiliac pain. Hope you feel better soon .
