Its been a while since ive used this forum. My sister Sharon, passed away suddenly with an unknown type of liver disease on 13th April 2021. At the time I couldn’t grasp what that meant and used this forum for help. Since then ive continued my search for answers. Some time back Sharons consultant told us that he had tested my sister for Wilson’s Disease and the test came back positive. He has now referred myself, her children and my parents for DNA testing to see if we are carriers or if we have Wilson’s too. My question to you lovely people out there is could Wilson’s have caused her death. I have a second question too, as my sister was terrible to pop paracetamol and did so throughout her entire life. Of later years she also took a large number or herbal tablets and so my new research concerns the over use of these tablets and the long term impact on the liver. So im wondering whats your thoughts or experiences of this. Many thanks to anyone who responds.
