omeprazole use with ani inflammatory medication. Magnesium oil spray.
hi, sorry to hear about your struggles. I’ve been on omeprazole for many years to treat acid reflux. If you’re on any anti inflammatory drugs, these can cause stomach acid and that’s probably why you have been given them. For pain I use magnesium oil spray from Holland and Barrett I find it helps a

Prednisolone dose? I’m not sure where to go from here
After a long and arduous journey I’ve made it safely to the US to visit my son and family for Christmas. I’ve now had three days to rest and recover. I was experiencing a flare before we left England and I’m now on day 10 of an increase from 8.5 mg to 13mg. The increased dose over the past 10 days

It does feel muscular or skeletal and is pretty much under control with paracetamol but I did wonder how long

Weaning off painkillers
Had hip replacement 6 weeks ago.On 1000mg paracetemol and 60mg codeine 4 times a day pain relief. Had no advice about how long I should take this medication or how to manage coming off it. Would love a drink at Christmas. How long should I be on painkillers and can I get off them this week?

Sorry to be posting so soon after my last post but I do rely on the advice from this forum so much. Trying to get sensible advice from my GP or Rheumatologist in a timely fashion is almost impossible. Briefly I’m on day 4 of an increase from 8.5 mg Prednisolone to 13mg to deal with a flare. My intention

Advice when bloods stay normal for ESR and CRP but shoulder stiffness and pain are increasing little by little
Although my ESR and CRP today are within normal range (21 & 6.8 respectively) I have had a return of stiffness and pain in my shoulders and neck over the last few days. I've just tapered from 7mg of Prednisone to 6.5 mg. This is my 14th day on 6.5 mg. Tried Paracetamol, but it doesn't seem to be working. Is
