is it possible to get this condition just be leaning sideways over a waist high fence? The pain I am in is terrible at night particularly exacerbated by covid. What can I do for this other than rub voltarol and take paracetomol? I’m on 2 steroids a day (for poly myalgia). Thank you

no medication
I have had RA since 1998. Been on many different medications. Had lots of bad side affects. No they can’t offer me anything else I was on steroids but advise not to use them as the long term effect. How am I going to cope without anything except paracetamol. The mornings are hell.

Constant Headache
Hello, I have suffered from Health anxiety for a long time. For the last 3 weeks I have had a constant headache. Mainly on the top of my head and forehead. Been to the doctors and they think it is stress related. Have tried paracetamol but nothing seems to touch it. Its like an ache all day long

Just confused
I have spent 8 months or so trying to figure out what on Earth is going on with my periods. I’ve had three scans and a couple of consultations. Friends of mine tell me they just take two paracetamol and sometimes use a hot water bottle and they’re ok. Where I generally can’t walk, take extremely hot

Any ideas?
My husband has been feeling under the weather for about 4 weeks now - like you feel when your starting flu or fighting a virus - which is how he felt before he was diagnosed. He went to the Dr's last week because he feels like he might need an antibiotic to pick him up, but they couldn't find any source

Severe Upper Inner Thigh Pain
I got out of bed on Thursday morning and once I started walking, my left inner upper thigh - not quite in the groin - began to ache. It continued off and on (mildly) into the day and I hobbled around at work. The pain was fairly manageable at that point, and I was able to walk the dog. On Friday it

Pmr or just a sore back?
Been at this for 7 years, a few on 3mg pred, up to 6 last October after my covid vaccine as I was climbing stairs on hands and knees. Started reducing again this summer, slowly, and was definitely feeling better at 4 1/2, when a few weeks ago I put my back out. No event, but really painful with spasms

Open heart surgery
After my cardiology review midweek I’m being booked in for an angiogram and it’s been suggested I will be considered for an aortic valve replacement in the next couple of months. Frozen shoulder?
Since getting back from Cyprus where I saw a Rheumatologist but wasn't there long enough to get to the bottom of my symptoms, I've seen my GP who was appalled I'd been prescribed Pred (too young and no inflammation markers - actually I'm 56 and in Cyprus my ESR and CRP were considered raised though clearly

Ramapril and Candesartan help please.
I was prescribed Ramapril last year lowest dose and tolerated it really well. However when I saw my cardiologist in July my blood pressure was high and he increased the dosage to 2.5 mg twice a day. As well as hypertension I have mild CAD and moderate LVH. I started experiencing a vibrating sensation

Leg Pain
Hi all. I have posted before, my right leg is causing terrible pain from my bottom down to my foot. I also have pins and needles when I stand or walk. As the pain goes down the side the doc said he doubts sciatica. At first the physio has said arthritis, as the exercises made the condition worse

Hi! I have been struggling with these tension (anxiety or overthinking) headaches also. Paracetamol, flunarizine, inderal none of them seem to work. Only benzos work but cannot take them as you know. The more I overthink the more I get headache. Meditation and distracting seems to work but all are temporary
